Good location: rural area, but well connected (direct bus line to Utrecht).
Beautiful surroundings: the whole complex is at the edge of a forrest. Several buildings spread on a lot of land, large green spaces & big trees inbetween, basically you're surrounded by nature.
Overall, this hotel is a great option for a few days away from the town. It's why, overall, we're still glad that we went there, despide the bad parts.
Coffee, tea, water + chocolate/biscuit between 7.00-22.00 for free in the main hall. Water, coco, tea , simple coffe + water heater + sweets in the room. Restaurant in the hotel and an other on one minute walking (try the vega burger at Klein Zwitserland it s super). Safe in the room, fan, window can be opened. Wood accross the hotel.
Very clean, like new furnishings. The property and surrounding forest is beautiful. I liked waking up to the sound of the birds outside (I don't get this often, living in a high rise at home). We didn't try the food at the hotel, but the restaurant next door was really good.
Fantastic place to get relaxed. In "the middle of nowhere" between the farms, cows, fields etc. Very lovely host and absolutely great breakfast, possible to eat outside infront of your room. Nice walk to Driebergen through the field's from around 35 minutes.
Kasteel Sterkenburg is absolutely gorgeus and fosters a unique hotel experience. Every corner of the building has history, and is carefully designed. The staff is also incredibly kind and eager to make all guests feel at home! Highly recommended!
We, our family, stayed in both the bungalow and the hotel rooms. Both were excellent. The staff went out of their way to assist and the facilities including breakfast were very good.

Quite interesting looking large area with a couple of different styled buildings with hotel rooms. Nice quiet location in the forest. Soft bed with a nice normal sized pillow. I like the artsy vibe.
Very nice quiet location in close proximity to shops, cafes, public transport, etc. in Driebergen. The upstairs apartment has everything you need for a couple of days stay in the area.
Overall a good hotel, located in a very nice park, the rooms are new and spacious, the bed is very comfortable. Probably more suited for business trips rather than private.
