The place was clean and seemed pretty newly built. The staff was very kind and helpful. The room was nice, big (especially the bathroom) and clean. Breakfast was also tasty and it's good value for money.

Vicky was super friendly and accommodating. She even agreed to take us to the airport at the end of our stay because her usual driver and backup were out of town. The room was perfect for our needs. There were thousands of flamingos in the lagoon and several other shorebirds. We enjoyed our stay here.

Excellent location, flamingos in the bay when you look out of the window. Good location for walking around the bay. The shops and a number of restaurants are close by.
The kindness of people is exceptional. There are a lot of different activities. It is safe (apparently some pick pockets at the harbour because of Cruises stopping). Yango app is working very well a substitute of Uber. Food and restaurants are very good (example are Anchors, Godenfang, but all the restaurants at the harbours are very good). Price quality exceptional. Sam Barnard of the tennis club is very nice. Very nice for Kite surfing at the Lagoon and Donkey beach very good for surfing. Very clean, very comfortable. The nature is amazing. No traffic, no stress, but you have all the possible comforts

Fantastic place with many tourist attraction sites including the highest peak point of the sand dunes, Atlantic Ocean on one end with bringing cold stream from Benguela currents and on the other a taste of the semi-desert hot air.

I am from Hermanus, South Africa. This was my first time in Walvis Bay. I was immensely impressed and content with Walvis Bay, its people, environs, environment, and so much more.
There are nice second-hand stores and thrift stores to purchase local clothing and tourist items at a lower price.
Shopping is great.
The walks are wonderful.
It is not hot as one would expect from Namibia.
The flora and fauna are beautiful.
Do not forget to eat at Godenfang - the most wonderful and fresh food ever.
We did not have an automobile. It was easy to hale a taxi on any street to take us anywhere - even to Swakopmund, which is 30 minutes to the North.
Go and have an adventure.

I do not know about restaurants to visit in Walvis Bay, as well as the activities to do besides the boat rides. So I basically dinned at the hotel I was booked in. I also do not find it easy to get around Walvis Bay so I avoided the hassle of getting lost and enjoyed the facilities at the hotel.

The hotel was perfectly situated, between the town and lagoon. And this made long or short walks perfect. The area is peaceful and gives you a sense of security, as well as the friendly and helpful residents and staff. The harbour is close with beautiful scenery and excellent restaurants.

Its always great to be at the coast, perfect weather with lots of activities- climbing dune 7, boat rides, camel rides and lots of fun too at the beach with shopping of course at the new mall. I always go for seafood when I'm that side. It is indeed very easy to navigate Walvis Bay because everything is sign posted clearly.
It was beyond exceptional. The attention to detail was impressive. Not only were we made to feel at home, we felt at home. We would plan to return to Namibia, just to stay at Lagoon Suites. The hosts are warm, generous, helpful--and all around, wonderful people. We can't rate this place highly enough... our rating would be so high that it would crash the Booking.com server.
Protea Pelican Hotel was such a wonderful place Went for my birthday and the staff could not be more helpful and friendly I can name a lot of them but Welma Heleni Elizabeth Marianna Mathew deserve just the best compliments I cant wait to return as the position is fantastic with all the flamingos right in front of us
This hotel is outstanding
The location is good but all the night activities are in Swakopmund about 30 km away from Walvis bay and the road can be challenging at night. The guesthouse is fine and the staff very friendly.
You are on the lagoon so you almost can see the flamingos from your room, or just have to cross the street.

This place is an absolute gem in Walvis Bay. It has the most incredible views over the bay where you can watch the birdlife. The kitchen was fully equipped and beautiful. The bedrooms were big with comfortable beds. This place was everything we could ask for and more, and the host was so friendly and informative.
What a pleasant stay. This is my go to place whenever I am in Walvis Bay. Especially after a long day of traveling. The staff is AMAZING AND SOOO NICE! Bedrooms are perfect and omw the beds are comfortable. The breakfast was great and I had a lovely time at Bela Luna! Highly recommended!!! See you soon.
The service was excellent, the rooms were spacious and the breakfast was out of this world. This is Honestly the best hotel I have ever been to. I will definitely come back in the near future. If you ever want to come to Walvis bay, The Penthouse is the perfect place for you.
Very good option for a short stopover in Walvis Bay. We got a free upgrade with a private garage because our car was too high for the general parking. The breakfast was great and the owners are lovely people who help you with all bookings for nice trips around the area.
Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Miriam in particular. Very comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Right in front of the hotel, one can enjoy the 'pink flamingos show' , especially at sunset.
I booked in your hotel and I was successful and was given a code then you cancelled my booking with a text that is fully booked after I have travelled all the way. Bad service
Very nice hotel with welcoming reception. They helped us book a tour for the sandwich harbour and adviced on a good spot to get a dinner. Overall this was very pleasant
I liked that I had my own privacy, no noise pollution and it is close to the lagoon. The bedroom was phenomenal. Everyone is super friendly, made me feel at home.
