Breakfasts are very tasty, it includes omelette, sausages, toasts with butter and jam and some starter (every day different). Island is not far from the airport, the possibility of various water sports and day trips The best sites for diving with sharks and eagle rays at the nearby Kandoma Tila site. I have about 25 dives there. In the island is many dining options and many shops.

The trips on offer are spectacular. I would advise you understand the type of boat you are going on and check the weather. Salt Beach do fabulous trips and the guys on the boats are great.
We did have a trip with 'Maldivian Fellows' I was very disappointed with this one as they didn't have watchers looking at the people in the water and showed no encouragement to people that were a little nervous like 'Salt Beach' guys
We did the parasailing which was fabulous. We booked this with the guys next to the bikini beach and they were great.
Ive been to the island 5 times now and love its rustic charm although it is getting busier.
I can highly recommend the 'Juice Vibe' for the best coffee and juices. There are lots of restaurants to choose from, my favourites are 'Moonlight' which is situated at the opposite end to bikini beach and the Indian restaurant next to the Kanni hotel. Some of the washroom facilities are not so clean so always carry tissues with you.

People of Maafushi treat you based on the following: if you are white-skinned and living in a resort, you get the best treatments. After that, white-skinned, then brown-skinned in the resort, and the rest are treated like they don't belong in their precious land. Their definition of hospitality means you are meant to agree and not counter when they suggest something. If you have a different opinion, you are rude and disrespectful. The nature is unparalleled, but the locals have a long way to go to learn hospitality.

It is a very beautiful small island with very warm and hospitable people. With azure water and golden beaches. Prices are very affordable, there are several good restaurants.
It was impossible to swim because there are many reefs in the water inside and we caught our feet many times, which is why we could not go into deep water, and near the shore there is waist-deep water. No one has informed us about this. The hotel must inform the guests about such details in advance.
It would be good if there would be a bridge for those who want to swim in deep water, which would give them the opportunity to go directly into deep water.

Public island - so no alcohol/ all inclusive plush. The island is small, had good snorkeling, small shops, restaurants and bikini beach! Everyone is friendly and want to make sure you have a good time. Many options to rent water crafts, fun water sport items. Many excursions that give you exactly as they are advertise. A short trip by boat from Male makes it convienent - not have to spend all day getting to your hotel.

Maafushi is currently a construction site.
Maafushi is currently a construction site. There is building work everywhere on the island which is only 1km x 300m. It is not a paradise island at the moment.
There are lots of restaurant options but it is not cheap if you choose a venue that doesn't include the service charge and government tax in the meal price.
I would avoid Maafushi until its been re-built.
Breath taking view from the beach view room. Very warm ,friendly and professional staff. The hotel arranged transportation to and fro the airport which was amazing. The hotel arranged for the pcr test and handed us the results in the facility. Food was great. Cleanliness on point -I am an extremely picky person and when it comes to cleanliness- a lot of water activities provided by the facility you can book whichever package you like and enjoy a full or half day of adventures with reasonable prices. Great value for money. Highly recommend
The staff were very nice and cordial. The lady at the reception, Maadi (I hope I got the spelling right) welcomed us at the Port and brought us to the hotel when we arrived in the evening; helped with booking the selected water sports activities and excursions. The rooms were just perfect and very clean as well. Internet connection was very strong. I liked that it was in the more quiet place of the Island, yet easily accessible to everywhere. I stayed in a city view room, but could also see the ocean partially.
My wife and I spent 5 nights and 6 days at Ocean Vista. Very good breakfast! The staff were kind and they gave us good hospitality! Lunch and dinner were also good! The manager organised a half-day trip for us at an affordable price, where we did snorkelling at two points and we visited the sandbank and had our lunch there. He also organised water sports activities, where we enjoyed Parasailing, Jetski, Fun tube and Kayaking! Ocean Vista is an affordable and good accommodation in Maafushi, Maldives!
Small clean and very cozy hotel with amazing garden in front of it. We loved it that hotel located in silent part of the island.
Rooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. Everything was very clean.
All staffs were very friendly and helpful to us. They advise us about activities on the island and recommended best excursion center Maldives Fellas ( such a great experiance )

Couple who runs the hotel is very supportive and tries to grab best value pack for other activities on maafushi and nearby islands. They even provided life jackets and snorkeling set for free use. We enjoyed scuba, parasailing, kayaking, snorkeling, jet skiing, at their care off!! There is also small fridge inside room, so you can keep all your eateries bought from hotel or supermarket
The Maafushi Island is very small, so almost all the hotels there has good view and next to beach, this hotel has nothing which can make you happy or likable considering that all the Hotels has beach and good location. Breakfast was good but not excellent. The location may attract as it is next to beach about 30-50 mts, and have good view during 10-5 PM.
This is one of those best budget friendly hotels you can find in Maafushi, the staff is excellent and friendly. It is just couple of lanes away from main beach road. Rooms were clean and service was good. They can book the trips and speed boats on request. Breakfast was good, plates and cups were given on request. We really had a pleasant stay for the week.

The hotel is in a very good location right next to the main beach on Maafushi Island. The beach is easily accessible from the hotel.
Since Maafushi is very well connected to airport, the receiving guys at Kaani counter in the airport were able to arrange an earlier boat than the scheduled boats.

Stayed in Maafushi for the New Year with the family. We stayed at Rehendhi Villa Hotel. The place is very clean and good place for a short stay. The meals were very good. And the staffs were really helpful. Attended our needs with utmost urgency. We enjoyed our stay there. The place is recommended for budget travelers.

Pleasant hotel during our stay in Maafushi. Nothing fancy and reasonably priced, which meant we could spend on excursions to other islands. Breakfast was OK. When we were there, staff were super helpful organising tours and transfers. Overall an enjoyable stay.

Rooms are clean, well equipped and the staff is very polite and professional. The infinity pool on the top floor is stellar. Sunbeds are free of charge. Breakfast and dinner variety/quality are superb. One of the best hotels to stay in Maafushi.
The staff are really nice and helpful. The room is clean with good balcony space. The beach is right in front of the hotel. The whole island is walkable the supermarket is 3 min walk and many restaurants around the beach.
