The infrastructure is amazing. Everything is right next to everything.

Peaceful and friendly city with adorable cats everywhere. The beach is very clean and better than in Jūrmala. There is more activities to do on the beach here. Jūrmala beach is more crowded but more long and shallow. Ventsps is safe, not so crowded and nice parks for children to play in. A treasure to explore. Where are everyone?

Very beautiful city with plenty of sculptures and places to visit. It has many parks, museums. Beach is very well structured - different places for swimmers and surfers.
There is an excursion boat, excursion train. It offers 3 prepared routes in the city to see sculptures - 4km, 8km and 16km

Ventspils is great! Good looking, well kept town. Lovely seaside park for walks (my personal favorite), sea to swim, great open-space museum with historical building, castle. Friendly to kids, there are several ships docked in the town and in the open-space museum where you can climb onboard and explore. Calm, feels totally safe. Nice places to eat.

The town is very picturesque easily walkable because of it's size.
Of particular note was every open space was either or both lawned and planted with amazing floral displays, most street corners conical high and wide flowers bursting with vibrant colours. Even the middle of the roads planted with flowers, the surrounds of public housing blocks having planters and even sculptures everywhere.
Early in the morning I could hear the grass mowers, see the workers attending the flower beds and even a woman, pushing a wheelie bin along the pavement and stopping occassionaly to pick up a piece of litter that had been dropped. The whole town so clean and tidy.
I arrived a week after the season had ended, it was rain and sunshine, so few if any tourists. few bars or restuarants appeared to be open.
Of note was the abundance of finger sighnage boards on most junctions written in Latvian and English, impossible to get lost. Directions to WCs in large letters throughout the town. The pavements and roads well cared for, I witnessed no pot-holes, cracked or broken pavements. In summary the cleanest, prettiest most well maintained place in all of Latvia.

Ventspils is the perfect destination for families with children. There are countless activities for children (and parents) and more than enough to explore, especially mentioning the Vizium, the beach, the adventure park, the water parks and the amazing children`s park in the city!
I was traveling on a very tight budget and loved the room rate. I liked that all the rooms had very large windows that being on the top floor, I could open both windows wide. The hotel was quiet and peaceful. The shower was excellent. The room was clean as was the bedding. Was surprised at how fast and quiet the elevator was, really! Plus a pizza takeaway on the same premises and an electric mobility hire shop too. Overlooked a huge park area, everywhere in this town, a feast of ornamental flower displays, not a green space left unattended.
Great room for a young family with small children. Multiple toys, color pencils and swings were already in the room. The child was happy and was busy entertaining himself. The room was clean, the bathroom was pretty stylish, especially mirrors around.
Enjoyed a big garden in front of the house. Was nice to chill there and have a cup of coffee in the garden early in the morning. Nobody disturbed us, which was good. Recommend this lovely and calm place when you need to stay in Ventspils :)
Great location next to big park for children. As well Villa Victoria have lovely, spacious yard for children, especially smaller ones. As well there is grilling facilities for all. Flat was clean, really comfortable bed, nice little bath, which was very handly for the kids after beach. As well loundry machine - really needed. Thank you! It was very easy to get into flat as the key was left next to the door in the box with code, so no need to inform about arrrival- very comfortable!
Cosy apartment close to the beach. There is a shop nearby with all needed stuff. Other big shops are located in the walking distance.
The apartment is situated in the old town, so the atmosphere there is romantic in the sense you can take a walk between old houses. Also, the river promenade is close by, you can watch the harbour and the work of big cranes, this is insighting.
All the best reviews about this place! The room is very clean, we got everything we wanted, including a baby crib free of charge. The breakfast was also great.
The place in a good location, the beach and the city center is very close (like 15-20 min by foot).

I want to say a huge thank you to all the staff for their help and their great work. it was possible to ask for other services, such as washing clothes or leaving a bag for a couple of days.the hotel is clean, comfortable and quiet. there is a restaurant next to the hotel. they cook delicious food there. i recommend this place💯👍🏼
Location is perfect, near the beach in quite a quiet street. we had everything we need in the kitchen, good shower, comfy beds, nice garden with the comfy seats and grill. We found a lot of toys for kids, they liked them a lot. TV with Youtube and Netflix. Car parking in a property. Shop is 10 min walk.
The host family are really good, they provide with everything you need with a smile. The houses are very clean equiped with all the utensils.
Most importantly excellent BBQ facility, a very good place to spend time with your friends and family and yes the beach is on Walking distance 👌
Nice hotel.This hotel is far away from Bus station(autoosta).But you can go by bus from autoosta bus stop to Sigulda iela bus stop as of 25.12.2022.If you can't find bus stop,you can go by bolt taxi app.Don't worry it's not far away from Sigulda iela bus stop to hotel.
Everything is fine. Comfortable living conditions. Friendly staff. Everything is clean and tidy. The sea and amusement parks for children are nearby. We are completely satisfied! We are planning our next trip and will definitely stay at this hotel.

Very spacious, clean and family/children friendly apartment. Good location, not far from the beach, from promenade and a lot parks nearby. Easy to find parking spot. The apartment has everything for comfortable living.
I liked that the keys were in a safe so you could check- in during the whole dday and were not chained to a certain time. The location was perfect an just a short walk away from the beach and the lighthouse.
