The view of Lion Rock from the room balcony is breathtaking. The rooms are very modern comfortable and super clean. All I can say about the staff is WOW, they are incredibly accommodating, warm and caring, we asked if they had King coconuts and they had one of their staff climb a tree and bring enough down to serve all of the guests swimming in the pool.

It felt like we were living in a jungle. The pool, the foliage, the birds . . . it was extremely tranquil.
The food was excellent! We ate in town a few times, but my partner and I agreed that our favorite meal was at Into The Wild.
The staff, Nimesh, Suresh, Sameera, Hashan, Sithija, Achala, and Jesse (the large, sleepy dog) were AMAZING. They made sure we were comfortable and happy our entire stay. They remembered our names and made great recommendations for things to see and do. Smiles all around :)

It was a very expensive entry fee to the rock, USD32 per person. The guides around the base are very persistent and can become a nuisance. We had a good tuk tuk ride round the base, which was lovely and booked privately, oh and it's perfectly ok to haggle on the price.
Plenty of local cafes and juice bars. Fab place was The Green Hut Hotel, just 10 mins walk from Lion Rock, lovely rooms, great English speaking host and super food. Local temple worth a 15 minute look see.
Tuk tuks everywhere and good value.
Safari to Minneriya was great, saw loads of elephants.

We spend one night here.
We spend one night here. Depending on what you want to do it was plenty of time. We arrived in the early afternoon checked into our accommodation and went to Dambulla Cave Temple. The following morning we got up before sunrise to climb Lion Rock, which despite what people say, is worth it. The fee was acceptable for us since it is a UNESCO site. After the hike we had breakfast and made our way further south.

What a wonderful location!
What a wonderful location! The pool was a true blessing after our exhausting flight, and the environment is quite soothing. Asanka's meal was incredibly delicious. The personnel was really helpful!
The property was clean and spacious, the rooms have fans and aircon and the bathroom is modern and clean.
The owners were very friendly and helpful and also provided me with a transfer to Kandy on short notice. Breakfast is included in the price and it is the best breakfast I’ve had in any Sri Lanka hotel.
The property is located well, it is near local restaurants and the local village as well as walking distance to the Sigiriya Rock.
It's nice experience. It's not a kind of full facility hotels but warming small house. Location is the best. You can get Sigiriya rock by walking. Or rental bikes are available near the accomodation. And there are many restaurants and some mini marts in walking distance. And Mr. and Mrs. hotel master always cared me with decent distance. That's very helpful.
In addition, the location is the best to access sigiriya rock.

Fantastic hotel. Very friendly and gentle staff. Very spacious room and bathroom, all spotless clean. Communal balcony where every room has its own private table right outside their door. An excellent breakfast will be brought to these tables. Sigiriya is a very nice village to hang out in, and with the lodge being so nice, I would have liked to stay longer if it wasn't for the poor WiFi.
This small hotel is super clean and comfortable. Our room had incredible views across the fields to Sigiriya Rock. Breakfast each morning was delicious and we really enjoyed our curry dinner on the 1 night we ate there.
The staff and owner have great communication and went out of their way to help us and ensure we had a wonderful stay.

One of the best accommodations experience within my travel. Hosts are exceptional, easy to work with to arrange transportation within Sigiriya, and the pick up from the train station. Breakfast is beyond amazing. The cottage is spacious and super clean. The territory is quiet and safe. I will definitely choose to stay here again if I am back in Sigiriya.
This homestay is located near a jungle.The environment was calm and serene. They served us with the best Sri Lankan food we had in our entire trip. Ruwan and his wife offered us great hospitality and warmth. Overall, if you are looking for a cost-effective yet amazing long-term or even short-term stay in Sigiriya you must consider them.
Suni was a fantastic host. You can rely on him to take care of you and make the best of your holidays in this area. The location close to both Pidurangala and Sigiriya rocks was good. Both could be walked to from the hotel. The staff were all really friendly and helpful and the activities such as cycling to see bird life, lorris walk at night and elephant safari were excellent.

For the price this hotel is exceptional. The rooms are big and clean, the AC works well, the location is excellent (you couldn’t be closer to Sigiriya entrance road) and the breakfast was great.
