Comfortable room and bed, although they are a bit dated. I stayed in the ‘budget’ part of the hotel named Kazakhstan Express. Same amenities as Kazakhstan Hotel, just the room is a bit older. The TV is really small (don’t bother) but you’re here to visit the country and not watch television 😉 There’s no AC but on 14th floor, the fresh air is so much better. Breakfast is pretty good. Overall I will stay here again when I am back in Almaty.
