The breakfast in the morning was delicious.

There is still a little seedy element/edge to it - but the roads are improving and there are some decent resorts - which if you are in need of the sea, it can fit the bill and with the new highway from Phnom Penh, you can get there in under 3 hours.

Do not go to Sihanoukville unless you are going to Kaoh Rong Island. The mainland of Sihanoukville is full of litter / rubbish, it smells, Chinese shops and cafes everywhere. It’s dirty and a landfill of rubbish

We enjoyed the trip to Koh Rong, specially Long Beach and Prei Kong Kang.
We don’t like those taxi men at Koh Rong, they were so aggressive attacking and pressured visitors. I wished they should have better attitude to make visitors feel more comfortable.
Even though, I speak Cambodian fluently to them not to intimidate me. I preferred to find my own ride.

Good to be at Sihanouville.
Good to be at Sihanouville. Nice white sand and you can always enjoy local foods and meet friendly people. You may like to take the motorbike or bicycle ride or walk along the beaches. It is quite relaxing nice beach. You can enjoy the free-provided fresh water from the Governor of this province almost everywhere along the beach. Nice job to the government of Cambodia to think of such impact and nice wash rooms.

Sihanoukville is a rough and ready port town, with little to recommend it. Any buzz it had when flowing with gambling money has moved on and all that is left are half-built follies of rotting concrete. Few services or restaurants. Get in, get the ferry, and get out asap.

Sianoukville is now just one big city of unfinished high rise buildings with dirty beaches. Go to the islands or stay at Otres . Destruction of the environment. For example , removing a hill and reclaiming water ways to build more high rise buildings
I booked into this hotel to make the best out of an unplanned stay in Sihanoukville. It is still a work in progress but the staff seem to be doing their best— especially the manager, a Filipino named Paulo. The birthday cake delivered to the room was a particularly nice touch. Breakfast in the morning is a cornucopian feast. Be sure to say hi to Mr Voon in the restaurant.
The view from the Oceanview King Studio is spectacular. The only downside to the hotel is that to reach the pool you have to walk outside and around the back.

I had one night in Sihanoukville before catching the ferry and I’m very glad I stayed here and not in town. The room was large and had a balcony overlooking the pool. I could happily sit the garden all morning. A $8 tuk tuk ride to the main pier.

We didn’t expect to find such a beautiful place, way over our expectations! Staff very polite and always ready to help! The restaurant is incredible in terms of food and beverage. Casino is very big with great variety of games. We had a lot of fun and comfort in this hotel. The beach is very clean as it it all the facility. VERY HAPPY !!!
Hotel decoration is very distinctive, a lot of ornaments are particularly good-looking. On the second floor, there is a laundry room gym, which is very suitable for vacation, and it is very quiet around, and you can enjoy the sea breeze and see the sunset. Service is also very good, upgraded room type, like.
Comfortable, well located (although Sihanoukville itself isn't a place where there's much to do, at least this hotel is by the beach and there's a nice long walk you can take), restaurant is really good and you have welcome drinks for free. Nice swimming pool, hot water, clean, simple but comfortable.
Friendly welcoming staff very focussed on providing good service. They immediately upgraded me to Oceanview room with a very nice patio, and later arranged a fast shuttle to Kampot.
It was nice being at the slightly quieter end of beach. Hotel restaurant was good, with good service.
The hotel upon arrival looked beautiful on the beachfront, one of the reception staff assisted up and provided us with an upgrade which we thought was great a larger room. The hotel had a shuttle a couple times a day to local areas which was great.
