The manager and team took amazing care of me and my partner when we visited in August 2024. We arrived extremely late but they put dinner aside for us and left it in our room. Front desk was extremely helpful with giving advice and she even asked staff to pack us a breakfast to take with us as we ventured out under the Jordanian sun.
The location is also top-tier - right at the entrance to Petra! Could not have asked for a better first night during our Jordan trip.

We were welcomed by the staff and the hotel’s manager Mr. Shadi. We were granted an early check-in plus an extra breakfast. He upgraded us to a modern room with balcony. The hotel is secured by passcodes and a key fob. Breakfast is served hot with “eggs to order” accompanied by MANY mediterranean side dishes. The dinners were great with generous portions and you can pre-order your next dinner. The server staff-Esmeralda and another server were very attentive. Wi-Fi has a weak security. Some sites and browser will not open. Apart from that, the internet is fairly stable. The bathroom needed some TLC but the cleaner/s did a great job with upkeep and we always had fresh towels. Mr. Shadi went out of his way and drove us to the pharmacy and gave us souvenirs. The hotel is a 30 minutes walk or 5 minutes taxi ride to Petra Visitor Center. Luckily for us, Mr. Shadi took us there and brought us back to the hotel. Take the cart inside Petra as suggested by their receptionist- you won’t regret it. The hotel also can organized a ride/trip to Siq al-Barid (Little Petra), the amazing sunset view and airport transport for a reasonable fee. You can also do MONEY EXCHANGE at the hotel reception. Overall, we are satisfied with their service/establishment.

We had the Jordan pass and boked for 3 days to go into Petra. We arrived in the afternoon at 4 p.m. so walked in to the Treasury, we then went in for the whole day and then on our last morning walked in the backway.
there are lots of places to eat in Wadi Musa and reasonably priced. The museum is worth going into.
we got a donkey up to the monastery which was a very exciting experience and then walked down. It is worth visiting.

Do not get food near the visitor center, it is expensive. Get it from one of the restaurant a km away, called downtown by the folk. Like mehrbash or Falafel place.

Wadi Musa is the town that surrounds Petra, a historic place not to miss. Also in Wadi Musa is the rock that Moses ( Musa) hit with his staff and water miraculously formed. It has a beautiful view from that site
Also, The hotel next to the Petra entrance is elegant- but it's star is the Cave Bar- check it out for a bar that is over 2000 yrs old !

Petra is AMAZING, there's absolutely nothing to complain about.
Wadi Musa itself is a mall place with a few restaurants. Please are amazing and very polite, as in the rest of the country.
The only issue a whole place has is the water - it does not flow well. Hence, the bathrooms need to be used with caution and use very low pressure as the higher one can make it wet for days.
A recommendation for a good restaurant would be Mr. Falafel in The Tourist Street. A huge hug for the owner - Rami!

The hotel is up on the hill, about 30 minutes walking downhill to Petra Visitors Centre. The distance is made worth it by the awesome views! The hotel has a wonderful common area with big windows and a balcony. The room was small but cosy and the bed was comfortable. Even though we arrived after midnight, it was no problem - we called the number at reception and the receptionist came to give us the key. The hotel arranged a taxi transfer from Amman airport for us. I recommend Al Wadi restaurant in the centre of Wadi Musa.
Very friendly staff members. We enjoyed our stay at Petra Sky Hotel. We woke up very early one morning to walk down to Petra Visitor Center (20 minutes walk) and the hotel left a morning food pack for us in reception as we would not be able to go to breakfast. They also allowed us to check out little later as our flight was only in the evening and we left Wadi Musa only in the afternoon.
- perfect location, right at the entrance of Petea visitor center. It is a huuuge advantage, considering that many hotels are up a hill. After a walk to Petra, the closeness of the hotel was a saviour of the day :D
- great breakfast, awesome variety of choices, freshly made eggs and pancakes
- staff is very polite and nice at the reception and, in the restaurant too
- room is comfy
Small privately run bed&breakfast type of place - a good alternative to large boring hotels in Wadi Musa. It was middle of winter so pretty cold in the evenings - but room was warm enough (heated by air-conditioner) and the dining room was heated by gas stove.
Great location, closest hotel to Petra in the whole Wadi Musa!
I had a mobility issue and they gave me a room with elevator access (thank you!).
Good drinks and food at bar.
Efficient check-in.
