The breakfast was excellent, and the dinner was also great, like a home cooked meal just for us. The rooms are nice and clean. Staying here was really pleasant.

Aitch Boutique Hotel was of the best hotels I have stayed, the staff is so helpful and friendly. I would like to mention Mr.Fadi who was my tour guide, he took me to beautiful places in Jordan, also mentioning the housekeeping manager Mr.Samy who helped me a lot during my stay at Madaba. Breakfast is nice, the hotel is clean, Wi-Fi speed is great. The main thing for me was the location, as I don’t prefer to stay in big cities like Amman which have lot of traffic, so this hotel was a great choice for me.

Beautiful rooms & facilities with lovely local artwork by the owner’s wife throughout. Brand new gym and pedicure room on lower level. Owner and his family & staff treated us like family, always attentive to our every need. Dinner & breakfast were the best meals I had in Jordan.

I was on business travel and could have picked either Amman or Madaba for my stay. I like Madaba much better since it is not as busy and vast as Amman, everything I need (restaurants, shops) is in walking distance to the hotel (5 to 10 mins). Madaba also has some sights like old churches and historical mosaiqes worth visiting. In my view, for pure touristic reasons, two days in Madaba might be sufficient, but for me as a business traveller, I like the town very much to spend my evenings. Madaba can also be used as a starting place for excursions into the surrounding (Mount Nebo, Jordan valley, Amman etc.).

Other than the popular attractions, Madaba is a great place to stay at the begenning or end of one's Jordan trip as it is close to Queen Alia airport (closer than Amman).
It is also a better shopping experience (for arab/muslim clothing) than Amman, as driving inside Madaba is much easier than Amman. Prices seemed to be better as well.

Madaba is one of the most interesting places in Jordan and the good news is that it's not that touristy! The typical Middle Eastern city with its busy life, colourful streets and simple vibe, is the christian stamp of Middle East - it's a remarkable dialogue between the most important empires that ruled there - nabatheans, romans, bizantines, islamic, and it's covered with the most impressive mosaics.
It's a great city to feel the true Jordanian vibe with all its hospitality, joyfulness and historical interest - without tourist traps.

Take a little time to discover this city which is worth more than just visiting the church and Mount Nebo. We have spent a very nice evening in a restaurant we found during our visit. Unexpected and memorable!

Very friendly people and fantastic places to visit, including the mosaic museum. Great place to relax by shopping in the bazaar and eating on the street. The city looks safe and people are very friendly and supportive! Places that must be visited are Saint George Church, Saint John Church, Archeological Museum, and Mosaic Museum. Enjoy fantastic meals and restaurant services after souvenirs shopping.

I think the price is fair and the accommodation in total okay. The staff was excellent (!!) but pls don’t expect more than easiest standard. I wished to have a bed light and a little more comfortable beds.
But, Samar and his wife who spoke English well were super-friendly prepared dinner and opened the gate at 4am!
(What I found semi-pleasant was that the gate was closed after my arrival (8pm) and no chance to get out of the premises.)
I could not have been more pleased with this hotel and it far exceeded my expectations! The entire hotel was great!! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was wonderful and comfortable. The breakfast was great. The parking was very helpful to have. The location was very convenient to historic sites nearby. Even the little shop inside had a great variety at reasonable prices. This was just a wonderful stay, and next time I'm back in Madaba, I will definitely stay here.
I felt very welcome again at the hotel (was my third stay in this hotel). The reception team is very friendly and helpful. Especially Haithm from the reception gave me the best advices for transport, organized any additional bookings et. I like the hotel since it is calm and has a relaxing pool site, rooms are good, service team is helpful and friendly, and it is close to the heart of Madaba city (5 to 10 mins walking time), so shops and restaurants are easily reachable. I will come again!
I had a wonderful experience at the Black Iris Hotel in Madaba. The staff was exceptionally friendly, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The hotel itself is modern and impeccably clean, which added to the overall comfort of my visit. The breakfast provided was delicious, and I appreciated the option to enjoy as much free water as needed, a thoughtful touch that enhanced my stay. I highly recommend the Black Iris Hotel for a pleasant and comfortable stay in Madaba.
The hotel proprietors, Amir & Dahlia, live at their establishment and are always there to help with tourist advice and great places to eat. Try Mr Angus across the street for the best burgers & shawarma in Madaba! I saw Amir preparing a salad in the hotel kitchen one day, and he taught me how to make Jordanian Fatoush! Both Amir and his beautiful wife Dahlia will make you feel right at home in their lovely hotel in the heart of the ancient Mosaic City Madaba!
Excellent location, in the courtyard of St George's Church, very central to Madaba. Easy to visit all sites of the city. Staff was polite, helpful andvery accomodating to all our needs. Due to our very early departure, we had no chance to have our breakfast there and they prepared for us our breakfast "to go"! The hotel has all facilities that a traveler may need, and for a very low price. We would be happy to stay again and we recommend it to all travellers.
We have found great people working there, that are willing to help and support tourists. The atmosphere was almost like in family. The hotel is placed in the middle of tourist district in Madaba. One of its greatest feautures was opened roof with restaurant and believe - it was unforgettable sight! There is a parking 4 minutes walk from there. I definately recomend this place!
I highly recommend here !
Usually I dont write review, but Im writing because I want everyone to know this place is the best in Madaba. Perfect location in downtown, comfortable and clean facilities due to recent remodeling, super friendly owner. Nothing to complain about, wish to visit again, inshallah :-)
We had a spacious and comfortable room with a balcony facing the front of the hotel. The hotel has a nice bar and a convenient souvenir shop. The staff if friendly and helpful. Madaba centre is nearby with all the main restaurants and attraction just 10 minutes away. Across the road there is the Madab Mall.
The owner is very friendly and helpful, the location is great for a walking tour in Madaba and great point to start trips outside. The apartment is huge. The breakfast was changing through the days. Imad is going to change the building into a hotel and we wish him good luck 👍
There were 2 things that I really loved about Tell Madaba - the overwhelmingly friendly staff (it is a family place, so you can meet there Edward, his mother and others and all of them are great) and awesome breakfast (in fact, they were the best in all of Jordan).
The staff is nice. He contacted me on the first day I booked and asked time I arrived Madaba. It was easy to contact with whatsapp. The location is near mosaic park not far than 15 min walk. The room was big and clean. I think the price is reasonable and on budget.
Cosy hôtel in the center of Madaba. The room is very confortable and there is a spacious rooftop, where its lovely to take the breakfast.
Mohamed and Farah where really welcoming and their advice where precious. Thanks a lot, we had a great experience here !
Beautiful hotel in the perfect location for exploring Madaba! Our room was big, clean and very comfortable (the best nights sleep we have had in Jordan!) and the family who run the hotel are so friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious too!
Edward and his family made us feel so welcome! The hotel was right in the centre of Madaba - within walking distance of all the sights. Edward went out of his way to help us in any way he could. Couldn’t recommend more!
Madaba is a lovely, calm little town and this hotel is perfect for your stay. The staff is really nice, the rooms are clean, the restaurant is above average. Highly recommended.
Very helpful staff. New hotel in central location of Madaba. All the sights and restaurants are within walking distance. Car parking available. Good breakfast.
