Bardolino is one of the larger towns on lake Garda. There are plenty of restaurants and shops to choose from, all in a lakeside location with restricted vehicle access. We took a ferry to Sirmione which a lot of people seem to be impressed with but we thought it felt a bit cramped and crowded compared to Bardolino and not any nicer despite the big castle. We also visited Garda, Cisano and Lazise but prefer Bardolino as a place to stay. It has wide open views of the lake and plenty to offer.

Having just stayed in Sirmione (lovely but packed!) Bardolino was so refreshing. Busy but relaxed and friendly with lots of variety. Very family friendly too. Easily accessible on the ferry, with good bus links as well.

Bardolino is perfect there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. People are nice to deal with and friendly. Beautiful town to walk around especially the lake front and a variety of shops too. its suitable for couples and families also. The sunsets are amazing. The lake ferry is wonderful and plenty of busses service the lake also.

Great place for shopping with lots of interesting bars and restaurants, although sometimes they are quite aggressive while trying to convince you to eat at their restaurant. Also, you have to pay "coperta" at most restaurants which basically means you pay a couple of Euros for the privilege of using a knife, fork and serviette which is something that always annoys me. The bus service in Bardolino is great and not expensive. You can also travel to just about anywhere on the Garda Lake by boat which can get a little expensive but is usually worth it.
One thing that annoyed me is the increased amount of E-bikes in the town because the cyclists seem to have a hard time pushing their bikes, preferring to snake their way through the crowds and generally causing a nuisance.

Bardolino is a great place to relax and enjoy many of the things Italy has to offer. Great shops and restaurants. City life at night is so much fun. Ferries nearby for other locations on beautiful Lake Garda.
Wonderful relaxed hotel in an ideal location. Just a 1 minute walk from the hotel and you are in the lake with access to a private beach if you want that. A 5 minute walk and you are at the boat or bus stops to go exploring other areas of Lake Garda. A mega breakfast buffet every morning will set you up for the day. The hotel pool and other facilities are spotless and there are loads of other areas about the hotel to chill and unwind. Highly recommend staying here and I certainly would love to go back.
The apartment is very confortable (especially the bed), located on the lake side and at a walking distance (approximately 10 minutes) from the boat stop where you can catch boats going to the main tourist spots on the lake (Garda, Sirmione, Riva, ...).
There is a view on the lake and this is really great to enjoy the sunset from the balcony.
The Swimming pool is nice and large enough for swimming.
The building is very quiet.
The parking slot is pretty large.
The host was kind and helpful.
- excellent location. A few minutes to lake, one minute to Lidl, 10 min to kids playground on the lake shore. Promenade along the lake is beautiful in this area.

the pool and pool area were good and it was only a short walk (10mins) into the centre of bardolino. everything was clean and breakfast was good. the hotel was accommodating - we asked to move to a ground floor room with balcony due to us having small children with us and they arranged this for us. the room was very comfortable, there was a fridge in the room which was good, and staff were friendly. having a free car park was also very helpful.

The pool area offers a lot of options for swimming and just enjoying the ready in peaceful environment. It is just 5 min from the center of Bardolino, offers plenty of options to experience the beautiful walks and explore the area (especially for bikers).
The staff are all friendly and helpful. I needed help finding the bus stop and bus to catch to Verona train station and the young man at the reception walked me outside and made sure I saw where to catch the bus. It’s right across the street from the hotel. The breakfast is exceptional with a generous selection. The room was very clean and the air conditioning and comfortable bed made for a good nights rest.
This stay was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. The communication from Barbara and the rest of the staff was second to none and they helped me with incredible attention to detail to plan a special few days for our anniversary. They also upgraded our room complimentarily which was an excellent touch. I could not recommend this hotel higher, the only place to book in Lake Garda / Bardolino area!
Simply everything, the location, the design, the staff which all of them are very professional, the comfort of the rooms, the spa which is one of the best in the world, the breakfast, the dinner, I mean it simply everything. I have been coming to this wonderful hotel the last 8 years, sometimes I get upset when I can’t get the reservation and have to stay in other hotels.
The location was excellent, very close to the heart of Bardolino and the great shopping and restaurants there. The in house restaurant was great with an excellent selection of wines. The breakfast was exceptional and literally next door to my room. My wife and I will look forward to staying here again when we visit Lake Garda and Bardolino.
