The location is perfect within Shimla main town. The Ridge, Mall Street, and Christ Church are at your doorstep. There is a beautiful view from the hotel and nice balcony and an enclosed terrace area to see it from. The rooms are basic but comfortable. Bathrooms are clean and everything works well. The manager was so nice and he really helped me out a lot during my stay.

It was an excellent trip. We stayed 3 nights. Its quite relaxing. The room was veru clean, spacious . Staff was very humble and supportive. Kitchen services were excellent. The head care take Mr Vikas was attending personally and was so polite and familiar. Wish him success n aashirwad.

Beautiful city and amazing to see the British side of things. 2-3 days is max to stay in Shimla. Lots of places to choose from to eat and drink. Beware of the monkeys on the street specially if you are holding food. The train track and the Viceregal lodge was my favourite and being a Christian the two church was beautiful to see and still being used.

We were quite shocked at how busy Shimla has become and how...
We were quite shocked at how busy Shimla has become and how polluted the atmosphere is now compared to 27 years ago. The Himalayas were barely visible and had very little snow which for December we thought was unusual
It’s still a beautiful part of India but perhaps December isn’t the best time to visit as they have a winter festival which attracts people from all over India hoping for snow …..there was none.
We found lots of excellent places to eat where you could enjoy some fabulous sunsets
We climbed to monkey temple taking one of the old routes which was very picturesque and we avoided the crowds
The Viceroys Palace was a bit of a disappointment as there was a 4 hour wait for a guided tour Thankfully we’d asked our driver to wait for us so we enjoyed a walk round the gardens but didn’t wait to go inside
You can see plenty of monkeys but need to be very vigilant as they were steal from you many people were getting to close and having their phones snatched. There is a large population of stray dogs which was new to us. They are in good condition and fed by the local residents who encourage the dogs as they keep the monkeys away

Very beautiful HIll Station. People are very good. Food is awesome. Cold is just perfect for people from West and South India. A bit crowded during weekends, parking is an issue. Use lifts where ever available as we are not used to climbing uphills and walkign so much when coming from other regions. Wear good shoes as there is lot of walking. Jhaku Temple rope way is approx 500 per person for two ways ride. Mall road is expensive but stuff is good. Kufri and Mashobra are amazing too.
Anad Niketan is a amazing homestay option in Shimla. The apartment is peaceful and well maintained with all the necessary kitchen utensils along with gas facility. The owners grocery shop upstairs has all the required items which is very helpful.
The valley view is awesome ❤️.

They suggested us good cab service option and also nearby hotel for food.
I would highly recommend this property if you are planning your vacation in Shimla.

The hotel is situated in the heart of Shimla on the Mall Road, which is the main shopping area. It's a heritage property and we were impressed with how well it has been maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure that our stay was comfortable. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped and the views of the city and valley from the hotel were simply stunning. we had a great stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing getaway in Shimla.

More than amazing staff, did everything to make the guests feel at home. Special kudos to managers Saumya and Arbaaz, and the other staff members Rana for his stories, Ankit for his vast knowledge of the area, and Ajay for his hilarious antics and awesome chai.

Hotel was neat and clean , in a peaceful location surrounded by deodar and apple trees, fabulous hill view from window and balcony.
Specially my wife liked the place amd will surely use this location again , it also has mashobra greens cottage near by so safe place as well.....overall it was beyond my expectation , i would recoomemed whosoever going shimla must go for for this place in mashobra to feel the trip is complete to satisfaction

It's an amazing stay with danalekshmi apt. First the apt location was very convenient. Hardly 20 mins walking distance to mall road. Mr Sanjeev and Meenu where very nice (uncle & aunty). I would like to call like that. Both were very helpful full and food was amazing. Overall we feel like home. Thank you so much uncle and aunty for the comfortable and safe stay. Our shimla trip was awesome because of you guys. Keep going
The hotel was very good, the view from the hotel was awesome, all staff are good in nature. around 1-1.5km walk from hotel to mall road. But You can take bus from hotel to Lift , it take just 5 min in bus then from lift to mall road. And if you want to explore kufri, naldehra then hotel staff can arrange the cab for you. Overall nice stay and nice view from hotel. I like it
One of the best hotels to stay when you visit Shimla. The service is excellent - every request is catered to in a matter of minutes and caters to a high satisfaction level. The breakfast and dinner selection of food items in the buffet are delicious as well. It is extremely close to mall road as well and their rooms on the fourth floor have a beautiful view of the valley.

At first we got a normal room, but later upgraded to delux. That's why 8/10. The location is near Lakkar bazar.

Great location. It's at a walking distance from Mall road. Great food. Neat and Clean room. Great staff. Only drawback is that it's on the road and the traffic noise bothers more at night. But, the view is so great that you would end up being happy with the overall experience.
Location of the property is one of the best location just on Mall Road. No one else can beat the buffet of this hotel in Shimla. Staff is so polite and helpful. It was my 4th Stay in this hotel and it become my favourite place for stay in Shimla
