To be honest I thought it would be a continuous desert beyond Jaisalmer before our visit there. Know that the dunes are formed at certain places only. But they are obviously out of the world. One has to visit it once.

If you want to visit proper desert with Sandunes then Sam is the place. Gets a bit crowded during winter season but it's ideal climate to visit Jaisalmer. You can do Jeep Safari for sunset and sunrise. Same with camel safari. Desert bike and parasailing also available. If you are traveling in winter grab some warm clothes as it gets really cold in the mornings and evenings especially due to the winds. there are tons of camps and most of them offer cultural program. There are also lots of restuarants around and personal vehicle can be really helpful.

Sam sand dunes are a must to experience when travelling Rajasthan and Jaisalmer. You can feel what's the meaning of coming back to the simple reality : sky, earth and you.... why not a one day tour or more to enjoy more as it is possible to ask for with the owners of the camp.

We had been staying in Jaisalmer and wanted a cultural show...
We had been staying in Jaisalmer and wanted a cultural show under the stars in the desert, so we went to Winds. We started the show outdoors with drinks and dinner when it started raining so we moved indoors for the music and dance show and to finish dinner. We especially enjoyed the dance with all the bowls on her head. In the morning we went for a short camel ride which is included.

It is a very nice affordable safari camp. The tent is very cosy with a extremely comfortable bed and a bathroom with hot water. The staff is excellent, very helpful and they took really good care of us.
The communication with the owner of Room Factory was very smoothie, he is always available to help you with everything. He arranged our transport and accommodations in Jaisalmer totally according our wishes. He can also arrange camel and jeep safari. I can really recommend this company and this accommodation.

The 1st thing anyone would love is the service, the check in procedure was really quick, we just booked the hotel for a day, but got all the best experience. we really wanted to extend the stay but as per plan we had to head to other place, me and my friends really had good time. The owners of the place Sanjeev and Swapnil were really great and guided us what we could do around the place and really helped a lot.
They provide best facilities in sam, desert holiday camp jaisalmer. Everything they provide is best whatever it is camel safari, jeep safari, bonfire, DJ night, cultural program, Rajasthani dinner, breakfast, tea breakfast. Food quality is also awesome. We had an incredible time staying in the Camel resort tents at Sand Dunes Jaisalmer. The Rajasthani activities were a true highlight, and the food was absolutely amazing.
