The original room was to small. The Duty Manager upgraaded us to a much larger room. He even threw in a bottle. Very good service and excellent staff. Overall very pleased.

Loved the location in the Portuguese area, we spent three full days exploring the immediate area and nearby - all on foot - except a trip to Old Goa by local bus. We had simple lunches, usually samosas (the best we have ever tasted) and chai with dinner at local Fontainhas restaurants including our hotel.

As a woman, I felt very uncomfortable and unsafe with the men they allow inside the hotel - just sitting around men sitting around lobby staring. Even at dinner at the hotel, we had the same experience - with extremely cheap men sitting around and just staring at women like we were there for their entertainment.
The hotel also lies about cab services for guests, insisting that you only use cab services run by thugs - stationed outside the premises. They charge extremely high rates and are complete bullies. All you need to do is walk up the street to the high way and you can take far more reasonable cabs/ taxis - but the hotel doesnt even infrom you about this. Shows how much they value their customers and a basic level of customer service. Pathetic customer service by double tree by Hilton Panaji. Do not waste your time at this hotel.

The antique houses of Portuguese Era the small lanes still narrow as of yesteryear, I have been to this area during Christmas season and I advise everyone to go there in the first week of Christmas between the 10th to the 15th you can have lovely memories and good pictures of lighting and decorations

The food was amazing. The weather, it’s raining season in July but then it got hot and sunny. However locals, especially male Indians are no open minded about other cultures like black Africans. It’s no a place for black and female travelling solo.
This is my 3rd time at Cidade de Goa. Their hospitality and attention to detail for customer is excellent. Property is excellently located away from the bustle of Panaji yet close drivable to great restaurants within 8 to 10mins. Private beach is another plus with Adventure sports included. Would love to visit again. Special mention for Nikita who took great care of us through our extended stay,

Stayed for 3 nights on the upper floor. Cannot fault and will definitely stay again when we are in Panjim. Great location in the Fontainhas close to good restaurants. Breakfast is good and the owner is wonderful. He has plenty of advice to give if you want recommendations of places to eat, visit etc - not just in Panjim but other places in Goa if/when you move on.
I fell ill in Goa with a stomach bug. When I mentioned this to Severina Fernandes, the Supervisor at In Room Dining, she took a lot of care to see if I needed anything and to make sure I was getting better with the proper food and beverages! Really appreciated her care and concern. Thank you.
The property is wonderfully located. My room and stay were very comfortable. The owner Mr.Roy was kind and helpful throughout. He also gave me a map and explained and recommended places to visit in Goa. Really enjoyed my stay here and more importantly I felt very safe here.

Awesome location and best services. Good connectivity with old North and South Goa. The pictures on the site are all very realistic and the property is too good. The boat ride for dolphin was also amazing which starts just from the hotel.

The location is in the heart of Panjim and very close to wine shops, Panjim Bus stand and ferry points... The hotel building itself seems like a heritage building made in old Portugese style goan architecture.
