the location is perfect - just seconds from the beach and beach shacks and the Main Street with shops and restaurants etc. The staff were so kind, friendly and really helpful and always on hand. you have use of a small kitchen with fridge and kettle and also filtered water to refill your bottles. the room is basic but had everything to meet my needs and was very comfortable. I was here for 15 days and wish I could have stayed longer. I will definitely return to this little Paradise. Thank you so much guys.

We stayed for a week. the apartment was simple but very clean. We came looking for sun, beach and quiet and we certainly found all three. the sunsets were spectacular and the sea was clean, warm and and the beach wide and mostly deserted. There are two similarly priced restaurants within walking distance from the apartment. We ate excellent food in both, including a local fish called Leppo and calamari and the best homemade fries and curry. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We took a local tuk-tuk to go to the market and it was fun and safe. A perfect escape!

Cancabcona is a small town, so it is best to keep your expectations accordingly. Apart from Palolem beach which is the biggest highlight of this place, you can go inside and visit places like Mallikarjuna Temple, a trip to Monkey Island, or boat ride to Butterfly island etc.
Food on the beach was good but was not authentic goan. You can get a better price and more authentic food away from the beach towards the internal areas.
You can get a vehicle on rent and drive around the interior reasons of Canacona.

The beach has become too crowded.
The beach has become too crowded. With the rising water levels shacks are built too close to the sea. I couldn't access my hotel from the beach at high tide/night.
They need to ban straws in all shacks.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Bramha Cottages...The property is hardly 5-7mins walk away from Palolem beach, and rooms are spacious with a balcony facing the beach, but the best thing about the property is the guy managing it (Sandy). He has been a great help in arranging transportation for me, patiently listening to any suggestions I offered, and has been very friendly. As a travel blogger, the way customers are treated matters the most to me, and I found this place excelling in that department. Would recommend it without a doubt...!
It's a great place.... I met some wonderful people including the staff there.... Especially poojita,kettiki & abhinav ...... It's affordable, pocket friendly and the staff there is so good I have been traveling for quite some time now and this hostel gave me unfortunately the moment, people and experience..... As a solo traveler i would suggest trying this place when you are in south goa ........

So glad I stayed at Baywatch Beach Resort Patnem the accommodation was so comfortable - best bed since leaving home! Location is perfect, quiet, central spot, along the beach. Anshul and Deepak are very welcoming-relaxed, friendly and will go out of their way to make you feel settled.
I will definitely stay here when next in South Goa!

Besides its "prime location" right on the beach, it was the staff led by Kishor and Yash which made our stay more than just comfortable... actually really welcoming.
The choice of food and spirits available in the restaurant and bar made it a real complete package.
Very quiet, beautiful and comfortable hotel. Staff were very friendly. Location is perfect, it’s literally on the beach. Cleaning service was offered everyday. Hotel rooms were high class and want to mention the bed! Every minute of bed time was a happiness.
We loved the location, the bar and food was amazing! One night we had king prawns and a whole kingfish, good price and one of the best meals we had in India! Sunbeds were comfy, beach is lovely! Prices in bar were good, would definitely stay again!
The location is mind blowing, I visited this place with rains on & off so with hills around and the private beach is an opportunity not to miss. The spa at the resort is awesome and services are excellent. One of the best resorts in Goa for sure.
It's in right in front of Talpona beach with awesome facility. Natalie has taken care of each and every required a family will require during their stay. The hotel is right behind and food is awesome too.
Colomb and palolem beaches are near to the property.
Rooms are clean, staff is humble. They have their own ferry which you can pay and book for Butterfly beach and other sightseeing.
Loved having a refrigerator, hot pot, and table with chairs. Beach is just steps away. Helped arrange taxi for further up north. A little covered porch area in front of door.
