Going to see the sunrise at Tiger Hill and Everest peaks...
Going to see the sunrise at Tiger Hill and Everest peaks were a bit disappointing as there was a fair bit of pollution and cloud, so not clear to see. Very cold as well, waiting for sunrise, but plenty of vendors selling hot drinks.
Sherpa Tensing Norgay’s house is a must see( although I didn’t as I became ill), as is ‘toy’ train, which is a narrow train that chugs up and down through nearby towns.
There is a huge Body Shop as well.
Tea plantations are interesting but not open all the time.
Clothing is fairly cheap, especially puffer jackets.

City of Darjeeling has as such nothing to visit..
City of Darjeeling has as such nothing to visit.. Entire town streets full of warm clothe shops and nothing else.. however, nearby places are good as usual.. this is my 5th time to the place and not new.. people with 3-4 days time can explore various places, talk to nature, enjoy the cool bridge..
I visited Darjeeling with family in March 2022 and stayed at SVR INN for few days. The best thing about this place is the hospitality and service provided, specially by the owner Romel Pradhan and his wonderful family. Romel is extremely helpful, friendly, courteous and always willing to meet our demands. Thanks Romel for all your help, you’re the ‘Man’ 😉. Hope you and your family are doing very well.
Hotel is well maintained and in close proximity to Mall. I would highly recommend all to stay at SVR INN.
I have stayed in many top hotels, resorts, homestays, etc. in the last few years and, the Little Singamari Homestay is the best. Not the best in Darjeeling, but the best ever in any place that I have ever visited. The owner, her children and each and every staff are extremely courteous and helpful. Our room was spacious, Wi-Fi was good despite being in a hill station, and the views of mountains from the balcony were amazing. I highly recommend the Little Singamari Homestay to prospective travellers.
the location of the hotel can’t be better!! is walking distance to all the tourism attractions of Darjeeling!
has amazing views of the hills!! the room is spacious, enough clean!
all the staff were really kind to me and help me with some details of how to be around the area! the guests next door were so noisy and the staff take care of it immediately!
the food is at very good price and well tasting!!
Thank you Prashanti, Saroj, Anmol & Binod to take care!!
Mind blowing. The behavior of the owner is just exceptionally friendly, and the homestay does justice to its name as it literally feels like home, it doesn't feels like a hotel but as a relatives house. And the view from the rooms and balcony is enchanting.
I highly recommend anyone who wants to visit Darjeeling and feel it's beauty from the cozy comfort of home do consider staying there....
As I booked the hotel, they responded quickly and send me the location. Hotel at the heart of Darjeeling besides the main road where the vintage train passes by and the view of Queen of hill Darjeeling from the window of our room is breathtaking. All the staff and owner were so humble. They let us know that breakfast was also included in the package and served us delicious breakfast too.
It was technically my first visit to Darjeeling , the first being when I was a year old so cannot remember, and now I'm 49.
The hotel isn't close to the mall...it's way is steep . it's actually close to the famous St Paul's school.
I really had a peaceful rest and comfort in a most scenic atmosphere I was searching for. The staff is excellent, polite and friendly.

At Solo Homestays in Darjeeling, I was impressed by the friendly staff who were always willing to help, the delicious home-cooked meals that fueled my explorations, and the clean and comfortable rooms that provided a welcome retreat after a day of adventure.
Though hotel is away from main center, Mr. Amit, hotel in charge, is helping with his own vehicle for leaving and bringing back to Hotel. He is very helpful, courteous and kind. My sincere thanks to him. Overall my family enjoyed the stay there.
The way they greet us with Special Darjeeling Tea. It was awesome. Very cooperative staffs. Always helpful. Very nice hotel with a very beautiful mountain view room. Very happy to stay there. Super satisfied. Must recommend for everyone.
The ambience, the staff, the food. The hotel is near to Darjeeling rly station. It's excellent for health because this helps to heal health problems. Walking through the steps was tiring but it rejuvenated me and my family.
Each and every services was satisfactory. Staffs are very cooperative. Location is good. Breakfast is highly appreciated. I will definitely visit this hotel if I come to Darjeeling.
The behaviour of the hotel employees are really good specially the hotel manager, he was very polite and helpfull too. I would love to stay in this hotel in my next Darjeeling trip.
