A wonderful secret oasis. Historic bungalow in a coffee plantation. Very relaxing, green, lots of birds chirping. Staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Food prepared fresh (all meals including afternoon snack) was terrific. Large and comfortable rooms.

The breakfast was good. We stayed for 2 days, on the first day, the breakfast was ok, there was no tea and the items were lesser. But on the second day, the items were more and we had both tea and coffee. My only request to the management is spend more on breakfast. Have idli/pongal with vada. If you make uppeettu, please ensure you have some sweet or mixture with it.
The climate was beautiful. The town was neat n clean.
The climate was beautiful. The town was neat n clean. Restaurants in the vicinity are not that great in ambience but their good very good in taste n quantity. Value for money. The chenakeshava Temple about few meters away is an ancient architectural marvel. More than a century old. It's an ideal hub to go to belavadi, halebeedu, chikmaglur etc. Within the vicinity of 100kms n less is a wonderful picturesque n ancient more Temple properties in all the above places. In chikmagalur you have the scenic coffee plantations n spice n herb trees all around n the climate just breathtaking despite the incessant drizzle... beautiful place more than value for money... since I am a vegetarian can only talk about that.

chose this hotel could be a resort but ended up as a lodge for me. I was welcomed by snake near the room stairs. I had already travelled late so hurried up to visit chikmagalur. Room was not neat. We came by night n found no water in any of the taps, when we asked they gotta know there was no water supply n waited 1.5 hours for it. Lights near the wardrobe passage were not working, when asked he said we ll fix it by tomorrow only, bed had plastic wrap on hence the seat was uncomfortable. Finally woke up morning n found out no hot water n he requested us to waste 8 bucket of water for it to come... Finally he told us he would get hot water n turned up after 2 hours with a bucket of warm water sayin please adjust.. I wonder there is no geyser at so called resort.. 6 30 plan to chikmagalur ended up at 10 o clock, owner n hotel manager don't understand what hospitality means n was very rude adamant n hopeless.. They need to understand customer is a king in a hospitality industry n service recovery is must.. Hence guys I suggest do not stay there
