We needed a hotel for just one night in Northern Donegal, and this place fit our requirements. It was clean, comfortable and the staff was very accommodating. When we found out they didn't have traditional music that night, they recommended the pub across the street who put on quite a show!
In Dunfanaghy village, Arnolds has views of Sheephaven Bay, Horn Head and the sandy beach of Killahoey Strand. It offers many horse-riding activities and a restaurant with an AA Rosette award.

The location was perfect, right in the center of town. Breakfast was very good. Room was spacious and we were located next to an exit door with easy access to the free parking lot. The staff was exceptionally helpful and very attentive to whatever we needed. We were here 2 nights, and I wished we could’ve stayed another night but we had reservations in the next town we were going to visit.

Been to Tory many times since early 80s because first time I came they
took my heart and never gave it back to me! I love sitting in the
rugged cliffs for hours, watching the stormy seas crashing up on the
rocks or seeing my seal friends in sheltered bays. bird life is abundant
and so are coastal plants. only the fabled corn crake: heard them for
decades, never seen them (has anybody ever...?).
Even though I practically know every piece of ground, I could do the
same walks every day, because everything is so beautiful. Very rugged,
but immensely impressive.
With the ocean often being very stormy, it's not always possible to
get in or lout, but this year seems to be particularly bad and was the
first and only time that I had to get out on practically the last ferry
for a number of days (losing 2 nights already paid for). so be aware of
that and of course there's not much of a refund of hotel-payments in such a case.
I used to come up from Dublin, but now I live in Germany and that's
a very long drive. So a stay of 5-7 days is the minimum, but there
are young people who rush about in one day (how much to they
actually see...?)
Maybe the last vestiges of Old Ireland to be found anywhere,
although Tory too is changing (too) fast.
