Gorgeous old manor house. The staff is lovely and accommodating. The chef is fantastic- the food excellent. The views are of the lakes with swans and other wildlife in abundance. Definitely an old world charm vibe - felt like we were visiting friends who live in the country.

Hostess is very thoughtful, sweet and has excellent recommendations with loads of information about the area and Ireland in general. Lovely cottage in a great location, with easy access to lovely beaches, viewpoints and not too far from Kylemore Abbey - which I highly recommend to visit. Dogs Bay beach is a must on anyones list visiting Connemara, it’s truly breathtaking. This family trip was to celebrate our dad’s 75th birthday. We loved our stay in the cottage - it’s private, very cozy and we felt right at home. Kitchen is well equipped, property was clean and beds were comfortable. There’s a shop for essential groceries next to the house, and the local pub is just 3 min from the cottage. We did a bigger food shop in Galway before heading there, I recommend to do the same if planning to cook and not eat out. Conall was very responsive, a great host. All instructions were sent well in advance, and our checkin/checkout was very smooth, we had no issues while staying there. Lovely touch was to find a basket of muffins on arrival that we fully enjoyed. Lovely cottage, would happily stay there again
