When I first arrived I thought it was nothing special but once you walk in it is amazing. The staff in every aspect from front to spa to restaurants were all excellent. It was nice to be out of the business of Killarney but close enough to enjoy the shops and restaurants. Easy access to Killarney National Park, bike rentals 1 mile away. Breakfast each morning was very good.
Nestled on the shores of Loch Lein, The Lake Hotel has magnificent mountain views. Just 1.2 mi from Killarney, a restaurant and the hotel has rooms with attached bathroom.

The hotel was beautiful. The beds were comfortable . The breakfast was outstanding. The location overlooks a castle and the lake. The setting is beautiful and was very well located to visit the Ring of Beara and the Ring of Kerry.
