A very simple no nonsense experience. Arrive, check in, rest, check out.
Loved the simple host, he gave me the key, allowed me to check in and then pay at leisure, helped me with the dinner menu and some suggestions - great guy.

We had a great time at the coastal cottage. The cottage's interior was adorable. It gave us a hobbit home feeling (which was great). Our dog loved spending time here and the home felt very cozy. The views from the cottage are picturesque. The fireplace added to the rustic feeling of the cottage.

We were able to check in 1 hour early, which was greatly appreciated after a long car journey. We were allocated a large, comfortable room with fanstastic views of the Atlantic Ocean.
The tables in the restaurant were formally arranged, with crisp white linen table cloths. Good selection on the menu for both breakfast and dinner. The restaurant had great views of the ocean.
There was a nice bar in the hoteal, with a large beer garden.
Excellent location - close to Donegal town and other local attractions, easy acess to the beach and within walking distance of the Smugglers Creek Inn.

The hotel had a nice 'traditional' feel to it, with a personal touch from staff, not like the impersonal service experienced in many corporate run hotels.
