Beautiful room, beautiful bed, beautiful sea view. Friendly staff on reception and in the bar. I loved that they gave very special attention to keeping the toiletries eco friendly- bar of shampoo, bar of conditioner and soap. I took them for my next stay away too, so it's the perfect solution for the environment and for traveling.

Downtown Bantry has many places of interest and is typical of an Irish village. Every Friday there is a market on the main square. It has all the amenities a person needs. A number of good pubs and restaurants. The food at the Brick Oven is really good. Very friendly people. The Connection has all the high-tech equipment a traveler might need.

I liked that we were in a rural area but close to everything. We enjoyed horseback riding, hiking on Sheep's Head, the pubs, restaurants, and shopping. There was an excellent Italian restaurant with great pizza. The butcher was excellent, and we enjoyed shopping at SuperValu.

Such a beautiful town and area.

Such a beautiful town and area. A compact town centre with amazing views of Bantry Bay and the Wild Atlantic Way. Spoilt by all the food and drinking venues. Bantry House well worth a visit. West Lodge and the Maritime are both great hotels... Good for popping in for lunch or just a drink: very friendly.

Bantry is an excellent base for exploring West Cork and beyond. It remains a traditional old-style rural town full of shops and pubs, locally named. Not very touristy. There's a sense of Irish history about it. It has a a very good Tourist Office and a fine new main square. A very good day to be there is a Friday, market day...excellent for every kind of locally made & grown produce. Bantry grows on you, especially the natural friendly warmth of its people. So, stay a while.

Very friendly and welcoming. Very knowledgable about local tourist spots. Lovely breakfast and plenty of options - gluten free, sugar free. Great location - very close to Bantry and Glengariff with a beautiful view of the Bay. Lavender scented sheets felt so luxurious and cosy! Plenty of toiletries in the bathroom - perfect for longer stays or if you forgot anything. Really loved the herbal tea selection in the bedroom. All these little touches made us feel so at home. Thank you so much for a great stay. We will definitely be back

We had a lovely big room with a balcony and a view. Room was very clean and the bathroom had a powerful shower. Lots of free parking space in the underground Carpark too. Walking distance to local restaurants and bars.in the town. We got a treatment deal in the Spa which included lunch. This was great value. The spa staff and the leisure centre staff were professional, helpful and very friendly. Feeling very relaxed after our stay. Thank you. We will be recommending this hotel to friends and family :)

Pipers View is conveniently situated for the centre of Bantry and for the bay and yet it is on a quiet road. Angela, our host, was very friendly and provided food for a self-service breakfast, offering to get anything extra that we might need. The property was kept very clean. There are two double en-suite rooms in the property and we enjoyed interacting with the resident of the other room on the occasions we met in the lounge / dining area.

This is a great house, very clean and beautifully decorated. Lovely views of the bay from the back and the kids loved the bunks. Only problem we had was the internet and phone signal, but don't get me wrong it didn't spoil our trip one bit, we had a great time and totally recommend.
