Excelton has become my go to hotel every time I visit Palembang now. The staff is outstanding, wouldn’t think that level of service would be available in Palembang. Room was perfect, cozy and the restaurant also serves lovely food. We had a bit of a problem regarding our food but the Chef himself helped us and served the problem right away, we’re very impressed with the service and decided to stay there again a week later.

It's my first time visit Palembang. Some people said nothing special. However maybe yes, maybe not. I think depend on how we look into, enjoy and have fun. I feel okay. Nice city with good icons like Ampera bridge, Belido statue, Sultan Mahmud Badarudin Mosque, City fountain, Cheng-Ho Mosque, River Side restaurant, Monpera Monument, Benteng Kuto Besak Plaza, Jakabaring Sport Center, a giant Al-Quran Museum, Songket Museum and Kemaro Island. I tried to ride a boat on the Musi-river, it was fun and an exciting experience. Another thing is the culinary. The famous ones are pempek, brengkes tempoyak, pindang, martabak, mie celor, tekwan, model dan sambal buah. Try it at the famous place and the sensation is really delicious. There is also dodol Lempok made from durian fruit and various kinds of fish crackers (kerupuk Palembang).
For me, Palembang is a pleasant city with delicious culinary delights.

Nice people, city is clean and modern. More can be done for tourism. Most tourist attractions are only in Bahasa Indo which makes it hard for non native speaker to understand. Attractions are also poorly maintained which is a shame for a place so rich in history
One of the newest hotel that is built in 2019 before Covid-19 hit. Pretty close to PTC, the largest mall in palembang. Cosy room with reliable and powerful AC. Plentiful breakfast with western and indonesian cuisine combined in the large hall. Large high-ceiling lobby that looks like high class modern architecture.
Love the Club room, the bathtub perfect for family with children. The staff really friendly and helpful. I love the hotel having late breakfast for new year, really considerate since we wake up late. Will be one of my hotel list from now on. Continue the good work Excelton

I asked for invoice , she said management wyndham cannot give billing or invoice when online booking. This is not correct, a good hotel chain always can print bill in any condition for good corporate governance
Very comfortable hotel and super close to the airport. Good breakfast and room service menu. Huge beds and nice selection of pillows. It has a nice, albeit undeep, pool. Shuttle to airport is free and fast.
the room and the hotel itself is very well made and has a good sense of luxury to it. the room was huge and well made, with a kettle, rainfall shower and fridge. the front desk people were also helpful.
The Reception service, they are very cooperative to manage the problem that happens and fix it. The Wifi speed is okay. The location is closed to everywhere and easy to go anywhere.
