Attractive Balaton location, many nice parks, especially rose park near the port, all clean, prepared for the season, nice staff at restaurants and bars. For those who look for nightlife this is a perfect location. Beaches are nice, clean, access to water is by stairs and you have to walk quite far from the coast to swim, so very suitable for kids. Siofok is a very pleasant location, we enjoyed our stay here, but we were lucky to stay on the beginning of the season where it was not so crowded. I recommend also to make a boat trip to Tihany on the opposite side of the lake and visit local abbey and surroundings that offer nice views over the lake. So enjoy! :-)

Lovely thing, just the prizes. Raised of 70 - 100 % from last year. Mandatory couvert in restaurants. Tons of people, many of them groups from Germany, wasted from the morning, shouting and behaving obscene. Not sure if I would honor that hellhole by my presence.

Siofolk is a lovely town, I was there this time in the winte, so it is very quiet. However when I was there in summer, it is extremly vibrant, with lots of popup bars and restuarants. Also a lot of parties going on all the time.

Hard to find parking in the center even outside of tourist season. The mini zoo, just outside the town is a great destination, especially for kids. The upside-down house is not really worth the hype but fun to see. The quay is well maintained, but most of the restaurants, and other contents are closed during winter.

A nice small town in the vicinity of Lake Balaton, not to busy in October, the town has a water tower which you can go to the top off by elevator for fine views of the surrounding areas.
There are plenty of places to eat with good restaurants in abundance.
Having stayed here before, we were delighted to go back. The property is in the centre but you can park your car at the back of the hotel for a small fee per day.
Plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from, and even more within a short walk into the town itself.
We choose to go slightly before the 'holiday' season starts and can imagine it could get quite lively at peak times.
Always a nice atmosphere and very close to the lake (Balaton) itself if you fancy a boat trip.
Looking forward to going back to same hotel yet again..
As far as I can say, the most beautiful hotel at lake balaton. The design is different to all the others, but you have to like the Asian touch. Breakfast buffet is outstanding and extraordinary! Staff is super friendly and helpful, we could store our gravel bikes inside the hotel overnight. Thumbs up for the amazing young waitor who served us the best chocolate cakes to the beach beds at their private platform
Astonishing hotel! Beautiful, clean territory with lots of flowers and greens. The whole staff are super nice, hospitable and friendly. The hotel has it’s own restaurant. Food there is just awesome and delicious, breakfasts are also very good. The room was very clean and cosy. Great location of the hotel, literally five minutes walk to the Lake Balaton. We are fully enjoyed our stay. Thank you very much!
Muller is in the city center and very close to the beach of Lake Balaton. The host is so flexible and kind man. It is also close to the train station. If you do not have a car but you want to stay in a place that is close to Lake Balton at Siofok, close to the city center and near to the train station Muller hostel is the best.
Everyday we had a stunning view of Lake Balaton from our room and for breakfast.
The hotel offered the basics of what you need visiting Balaton region, a short drive to the ferry crossing and many places to eat and visit at walking distance.

Gabi's rooms are situated in the quite area of Siofok and in very close proximity to the lake. In the area there are few shops and a few good restaurants. The room itself was clean and comfortable for 2 people with a little balcony which was lovely to use at evenings and mornings. Owners very lovely and attentive.
The location of Endretro Apartments is superb, very close to Lake Balaton and the Siofok bars and restaurants strip. The apartment is located in a beautiful, classic villa. We booked a 2-room apartment, and the rooms are really cozy and nicely designed. Great place with a very friendly host!
The hotel is excellent. Location is perfect and the staff are helpful and courteous, a special thank you to front desk agent Noemi, she went above and beyond to make sure we got the right set up for rooms for the family. Breakfast and dinner were excellent with good variety.

New and clean apartment, a little bit outside of downtown, but still in a good part of Siófok. The kitchen has the essential stuff to be functional. There is a Lidl supermarket nearby. The communication with the owner was effective.
Staff was very helpful and friendly. Garden is excellent. Siofok is great city for families with good programs (Toyee Kalandpark-hashteggsiofok, wellness, cycling, etc). Balaton is wonderfull, mostly in pre-season.
House have everything you need, big room, private bathroom, small shared kitchen, terrace, you can play table tennis, rent bike or sup, make barbecue. :) less then 5 min walking to the beach and restaurants.
Lovely and quiet, directly in the centre of Siofok but also very quiet. It was a stopover as we were cycling around the Balaton and it was great. The shower is very powerful and an abundance of hot water.
Beautiful garden and patio. Super clean and quiet, store just across the street. The owner is very nice person and speaks perfect english. This was really one of the best places we have been to at Siofók.
