There was a holiday going while I visited Miskolc sothe shops etc were mostly closed. A nice enough toinen to voisit though it seemed a bit quiet one. It was a bit difficult to find the center of the tien when I started from the train station
In bus station the system was confusibg. There were Electronic displays for departing busses but they were apparently not updated. The staff there sermed not to be too service oriented

We were puzzled with the city: it has a long history, but its landscape is dominated by the industry. There is a medieval castle, but it was closed at the time of our visit due to …. reconstruction! I really don’t want to see it after it is done, a very peculiar approach to historical monuments. On the other hand, we enjoyed a visit at Avas tower offering a nice view of the city plus a good coffee and drink bar. We skipped the local museum and went to Bukki National Park, which was a wonderful experience.

Surprisingly great city, pleasant city center and surroundings, starting point for trips to the Beech Mountains, beautiful waterfalls and caves in Lillafüred, an excellent cave spa in Miskolc-Tapolca. Within driving distance of Tokaj, Eger and more.

I stopped in this quiet town a night rather than arrive in Budapest late evening. (travelling from Slovakia by train). I didn't see much of the town or the thermal springs but the Main Street was pleasant, with bank, some cafes etc. Good fast tram system back to the station.

Miskolc is nice town with the castle, big market place and cave spa. There are for sure many others niceplaces, but we did not have enough time to get there. We plan to come back and dicover more interesting places.

There are lots of gypsies on the way to see and the road is very bad. People there are very poor.. if you want to go to the thermal bad, it is better to book a wellness hotel with all inclusive than to stay somewhere else..
The apartment was spacious, nicely decorated and clean. The beds were very comfortable, and there was an AC unit in each bedroom. The kitchen appliances, tableware and cutlery were all new and of good quality. The underground parking place was a real asset for us. The convenient location of the apartment makes it possible to explore Miskolc on foot. Finally, communicating with the hosts was easy and effective.
Everything was perfect. We had a great stay in Miskolc. The apartment was clean, very modern and pleasant and the host was very kind and helpful. The location is very good, close to the center. We also liked private parking behind the gate. If we are in Miskolc again, we won’t need to search for a place to stay any longer - this is a top choice and we highly recommend it to everyone.
The apartment is nicely renovated and comfortable. It has everything needed (coffee, laundry detergent, dishes soap, shower gel...) and has a beautiful terrace. The host was very kind and communicated well in English, she shared all the information to enter and access the apartment. The area is quiet and very close to the tram station and buses around. Totally recommended.

Amazing hotel. Masterpiece in a middle of nowhere. Usually you can expect such level of hotel only in a much bigger cities.
Interior, materials, design, comfort, service - all top notch.
Amazing breakfast with high grade food and huge list to choose from.
Also private underground parking (free) is a huge bonus to travelers by car.
The room was really clean and located in the centre of the town. Lots of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The staff was super friendly, replied our messages within minutes and always gave us good suggestions of things to see around the Miskolc.
Purely a suggestion --- A mini fridge in the room would be a great addition.
Very good location in the centre of the city. Very nice flat in a new building. Well-equipped kitchen, large barhroom, convenient beds, Parking place in the indoor garage. Huge terrace with nice view. Absolute luxury penthouse apartment. Our host was very kind and helpful.
The staff were wonderful. We went to Miskolc for our wedding. I asked if they could do something special and they upgraded our room, put flower petals on the bed in the shape of a heart and gave us some champagne. Then while onsite they were very friendly and helpful

This apartment is well located in the heart if Miskolc city centre. Most things are walking distance. It has everything you need and the bed is so comfortable. Loved the balcony to sit and have a coffee and watch people go by. I would definitely stay here again.
Nice place in the middle of the city, I was booked here earlier, nothing has changed. Rooms are clean, elevator works.
Breakfast is good. However the hotel is in the citiycenter not too loud on weekends too.

We loved everything. The apartment is even nicer than in the photos. Everything is in its place. Also the owner was super cute, we had everything we needed. When we come to Miskolc again we would love to stay here!
The hotel is very nice, clean, location is very good, 10 minutes walk from city center, supermarket nearby. Thw staff is very nice, they speak good english. The room isn’t very big but is ok for couple of nights.
The room was large with a comfortable bed.
The advantage is that there are plenty of parking spaces in the hotel parking lot.
The breakfast was good and the coffee was very good.
