The entrance is a bit hidden, it isn't at the side where the main parking is, so I recommend looking it on a map before coming.

The spa is exceptional. Water is warm and relaxing. It is a great experience to swim outside on -1 degrees. This period of year is probably good because it was not crowded just right. Also sauna world was great. There are a few nice restaurants around the spa.

Makó is a small but charming city 30km west from Szeged.
Makó is a small but charming city 30km west from Szeged. Also know as the Onion city, hence the onion is a main symbol you can find in many buildings and monuments design. The main reason to go there is Mako Hagymatikum Furdo or just Mako spa complex. With its unique architecture and great indoor and outdoor pools and thermal spas, saunas and facilities, it is a great place to relax and recharge, or just spend time with friends and family in a tranquil and stress free environment. Locals are very friendly, kind and welcoming.
Mako is perfect for a weekend get away.

Good position very close to the highway. The host is welcoming, discreet and ready to help you all the time. Clean and well equipped location. Breakfast was varied and copious. An excellent place to stop for one night and not only.
Very neat, clean, equipped apartment with central heating and air conditioning unit in the bedroom. Kitchen and bathroom perfect.

If you are renting an apartment as a couple, don't expect the whole apartment to be at your disposal. Realistically, it is not even necessary, but in that case, only one room is available.
WiFi very good, small TV available in the bedroom with no choice of international channels, but who needs that on vacation...
We were a party of four, travelling from Romania to Austria, by car. The choice of location was determined by the time to be spent in the car, on the way. So we cam here by mere accident, looking for a nice location. The place satisfied our needs and was in fact wonderful. Very close to Mako (5 min by car), peaceful location, without too much traffic. Ping pong table in the yard. Welcoming and chatty host :) A pleasure!
Our destination was the spa in Mako, therefore the location was perfect. It is located just a few minutes away from it. The hosts were very nice. The appartment is located in the yard, it is very quiet. There is a small seating area by the entrance, but not too private as there are also other poeple who stay there. There is a parking space by the building but also in the area there were plenty of parking spaces.
Our stay was amazing!
Upon arrival Helga and her husband greeted us with complimentary local drinks and explained us everything we had questions about.
They went out of their way to make sure our stay was the best possible!
Hagymatikum was 4-5 min away from apartment .
Pretty much everything is 3-5 min away,witch is super convenient.

No breakfast there (probably it might be an improvement idea, having breakfast for the guests) - but the room was very good - spacious, clean, and the staff (as I did not see the lockbock from the very beginning) answered fastly and helped me how to find the lockbox and get into the room. Note that I was there after the reception opening time. Also, it is VERY close to the Hagymatikum Furdo.
Lovely apartment in center of Mako, just about 100m from Hagymatikum thermal bath. The rooms are nice and clean, quite new I would say.
Private parking is also very convenient, and internet connection is great.
The staff was nice to let us park our car at their property and to give us room key before check-in time, so we could go right away to the spa.
We arrived late and the hosts were left the keys in the box and our rooms were prepared for us. Very nice house in the city of Makó with backyard with tables. The restaurant where we had breakfast is fantastic. I wish to be able to arrive earlier to have dinner as well, however we arrived after 22:00. I will return there on my next trip.
Excellent accomodation,it's very close to Hagymatikum bath,they have a salt room and sauna and in summertime an outside pool,very nice and clean,our host Kata was very helpful and kind,the property has 5 parking places if you arrive by car,Makó it's a very pleasant small city,we have a very good time with my family.
It's a nice, modern apartment, well equipped, in a house with a nice back yard! The street it's on is very quiet and minutes walk from the baths!
Eva, the host was very helpful, we asked for the famous Mako onions and she sent us a couple of links of places where you can find the authentic thing!
We loved staying here, everything was perfect. Nice and quiet, very close to the spa and restaurants. Very clean, warm and comfortable, the kitchen is equipped with all we needed. The hosts were very nice and friendly. We will definitely book again next time we travel to Mako.
Very close to the main attraction (Hagymatikum spa). There is a Penny nearby, coffee shops, restaurants, all you can need.

It was such a pleasure for us to stay in this apartament. Everything it was great, so so clean, we have in apartment everything we want. So close to Mako strand termal.

The apartment is located in a quiet street and has a nice yard with flowers and a cherry tree. Facilities are modern and clean and staff is friendly. Mako spa is a few hundred meters away. This is a great family retreat.
The location was good, very near the Hagymatikum spa. The apartment was recently renovated, spacious, sunny with relatively new equipment and utensils. A bottle of muscat Hungarian wine was also a nice present.
