The apartment is in a perfect location if you are visiting the Hagymatikum spa, and it's near the city center as well. Very clean and has everything you need.

We also had lunch in the spa restaurant and it was good.
The entrance is a bit hidden, it isn't at the side where the main parking is, so I recommend looking it on a map before coming.

The spa is exceptional. Water is warm and relaxing. It is a great experience to swim outside on -1 degrees. This period of year is probably good because it was not crowded just right. Also sauna world was great. There are a few nice restaurants around the spa.

Makó is a small but charming city 30km west from Szeged.
Makó is a small but charming city 30km west from Szeged. Also know as the Onion city, hence the onion is a main symbol you can find in many buildings and monuments design. The main reason to go there is Mako Hagymatikum Furdo or just Mako spa complex. With its unique architecture and great indoor and outdoor pools and thermal spas, saunas and facilities, it is a great place to relax and recharge, or just spend time with friends and family in a tranquil and stress free environment. Locals are very friendly, kind and welcoming.
Mako is perfect for a weekend get away.

Good position very close to the highway. The host is welcoming, discreet and ready to help you all the time. Clean and well equipped location. Breakfast was varied and copious. An excellent place to stop for one night and not only.
Everything was perfect: clean, excellent bed (very comfortable), warm and pleasant atmosphere, highly suitable for a family. It's also a kitchen equipped with all you need (we didn't use it very much because in Mako you'll find tasty and affordable food 😉).
Kindly and helpful host, but also very discreet.

Amazing apartment! Second time booking this place and one of the best we stayed at. Fully stacked, all the amenities you can think of si it’s great even for a longer stay. The area is clean and quiet and close to all the interest points in Mako.

The apartment is super spacious, clean and modern. It's equipped with everything you need for a few days spent at the thermal baths, like a washing machine, clothes rack, big kitchen with pots, oven, dishwasher and so on. Also, it is extremely close to the Hagymatikum, you can actually see it from the window, and reach it with a 2-3 min walk.
This refined hotel,charmingly furnished ,truly evoks the elegant atmosphere of the 1920s.Everything here is impeccable.Clean, comfortable room ,modern, spacious bathroom .Very varied buffet breakfast ,tasty ,beautifully presented and fresh. The apartment is perfectly refurbished and equiped with all you can possibly need. Our host Robert is very kind and helpful. The location is perfect, just a few meters from Hagymatikum and Mako center. There is free parking in front of the building.

The location was good, very near the Hagymatikum spa. The apartment was recently renovated, spacious, sunny with relatively new equipment and utensils. A bottle of muscat Hungarian wine was also a nice present.
A very friendly person, waited for us as we arrived very late in the evening. Although not exactly a hotel it provides all necessary things. It has excellent coffee and a playground. Good value for money!
