The staff were kind and tried to give information about activities in the surrounding area. The breakfast was good and there was variety. The dinner was also good in quality and their was variety even though the Hotel was not full during this period. The internet worked fine! The rooms were clean and big enough! The spa area was clean and not crowded.

Better than expected! Family friendly complex vacation, lot of things to do: hiking, wellness, community room for kids with lot of toys, restaurant everything at a huge natural place. We also asked for dinner which was for 6000 HUF but worth the money! Very nice variety both for breakfast and dinner.

Located in Mátrafüred, 25 miles from Egerszalók Thermal Spring, 4 Évszak Völgyhotel has accommodations with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge.
The meals were delicious with a wide variety of choices. The hotel is close to the wine cellars of Farkasmály, where it is possible to taste different kinds of excellent quality wine for a relatively low price. The hotel is close to the hiking routes of Mátra. You can reach Mátrafüred in 15 minutes by car, where you can park your car and follow the natural hiking routes. If you do not like walking you can go to Kékes, the highest point in Hungary.
Everything went well. The staff was amicable, the breakfast and dinner were plentiful and delicious. The dinner was much better than in other restaurants for a friendlier price. The room was large, comfortably furnished, and an easily accessible relax area with saunas. Excursion starting points easily accessible by buses, such as Mátrafüred and Mátraháza. Hotel Opal is close to the bus station with frequent buses.

close proximity to the heavy industry in the region, the company hotel would have been a 45min drive away at least,
limited breakfast selection but absoluetly sufficient also took care to cater for a colleague who required gluten free food
Breakfast was normal, a bit above my expectation. The location of this hotel is excellent for visiting, travelling, tourist wandering around Mátra and towns, villages (eg. Gyöngyös, Kékes, Bükszék,…)
the hotel is next to the border Romania - Hungary, about seven minutes drive . the room is warm , the beds are big enough . it’s possible to buy wine in the lobby .
The food provided was good, the room was comfortable, the staff were very friendly and kind. The hotel's facilities were good and it was in a lovely location.
