Lovely town with lots of flowers and trees, very clean, tidy and safe even in the evening. Not loud even in the evening was very quiet near the beach. Preferred Kisfaludy beach (strand). Less crowded and a bit cheaper, also more facilities and better quality/selection of food. Borcsa restaurant has great food and service.

Nice place, you have a lot of restaurants, hotels on all levels starting from street food up until fine dining and top hotels next to the lake. Also shopping is quite fine and you have a great set of activities as well you can do. Hiking and other activities are also possible. Great holiday and weekend getaway location.

Great location to also visit other place on the north side...
Great location to also visit other place on the north side of the lake. We visited Veszprem, Tihany, Heviz, and Keszthely. Lots of beaches close by, our kids really liked Csopak strand and Alsóörs. Balatonfured itself is great for the walk along the boardwalk with all the stalls selling stuff and the tour boat rides in the evening.

The perfect place to visit lake Balaton with your family. The nightlife is not as other parts of Balaton, like for example Siofok, but it is perfect if you vacation with your children and want a calm, safe and relaxing environment friendly for children.

Unforgettable XIX century atmosphere with good Hungarian fish, pork and cow food. Taste the Bagameri icecream, it is the best icecream next to the Lake. If you want to learn and do sailing on the lake Balatonfüred is the perfect location.
Room had a beautiful position, very quiet with just the bird song from the garden and a view of the lake.
The hosts were very kind and helpful.
Supermarket is just 2-3 min walk away, and the beach is 15 minute walk down the hill. There is a paid parking lot near the beach so you can also go by car if you prefer.
The town is beautiful, with very nice beach and a long promenade with lots of shops and restaurants. Really perfect place for a family vacation.
The service was absolutely fantastic. We were upgraded for free at check in as they had some nicer rooms available than the one that we had booked. We loved the made to order breakfast each morning and the pool and loungers area was really nice to have. The hotel was a very short walk from the marina. You could tell that the staff took a lot of pride in their hotel. Would absolutely stay here again if I was to ever return to the area.

I liked everything! Excellent location,10 minutes to the embankment, many cafes and restaurants, shops with souvenirs and clothes. There is a ferry and the opportunity to take a boat ride on Lake Balaton. Also nearby is a large Tesco supermarket.
The room is clean, has everything you need for living, there is a balcony with a view of the lake and vineyards, very cozy and beautiful.

Great location, very friendly stuff. The apartment had a huge balcony. Brand new kitchen equipments. The apartment had fridge, ventilator, dining table and a small tv. Within like 50m there is a great restaurant. The beach Esterházy is around 15 min walk and the Kisfaludy is 20 min walk. Tagore is the same - around 15 min walk. Thank you for everything - we will be back for sure!
location of the apartment is fantastic close to lake for swimming and also the restaurants on the strand. Car parking available at the property which is a bonus. the apartment was also very clean and tidy.Easy to check in and check out, the host is friendly .would definately stay here again .

We had a half board - food both for breakfast and dinner was exceptional (not like in usual all-inclusive hotels). Swimming pools were really good. Location is in a heart of Balatonfured. On Easter weekend there were surprises for children and free champagne twice a day for adults.

Perfect location close to Tagore promenade. The host is very friendly. The apartment is nice and spacious, and there is also a pool with sauna in the building. Will surely choose the same accommodation when visiting again.
This was our fifth time at this hotel and the level of service, cleanliness, food quality has remained high over the years. The breakfast and dinner buffet is delicious. The staff are kind, helpful and knowledgeable.
the location is great close to the waterfront and lots of cafes and restaurants. also it has nice yard with swimming pool. the room was very quite big with two rooms and a small tv area and our own balcony.
