This Hotel is located down the street from a marina with restaurants and a beautiful walking path along the shore of Lake Balaton. The town is close and walkable. The train is close as well but we had quiet at night, so loved this place. Simply perfect!

My visit to Balatonfoldvar for the Balaton Sound music festival 2023 was a remarkable experience. The stunning landscapes of Balatonfoldvar and the beautiful Balaton Lake added an extra layer of magic to the festival. A very beautiful village in Lake Balaton. It is very easy to reach to this village by train from Budapest. There are so many traditional restaurants with delicious fish and Hungarian food. People are very kind and swimming and taking sunbath would be really enjoyable!

One of the best and friendliest cities on the southern shore...
One of the best and friendliest cities on the southern shore of the lake.
Be sure to try out the famous Pub-Lik and Csigaház restaurants, eat some Hungarian scone ("lángos") and the ice-cream called "Mór" at the port, and pay the lookout tower a visit.
Easily accessible by train (Balaton Express) or car (highway M7, one and a half hours from Budapest). The lake is accessible from almost the entire lenght of the shore, but there are two public beaches (one to the East, one to the West) with all the required facilities if you are willing to pay a small admission fee.
This hotel is in a beautiful old building in a quiet, peaceful, tree-lined area. This is definitely the better side of the lake. A short walk to the lake and good restaurants and cafes. Our room had a nice view of the garden and pool area. The staff were very helpful and the facilities are generally very good for the price.
Good breakfast, great coffee, very nice personnel! Very kind and polite service. I was impressed with the cleannes of the hotel. The hotel is basic but the very clean, enjoyable and it has great location, close to bike pass and the beach. it was nice to have a balconie.

Well located lovely villa hotel right next to the Balaton lake. The staff were very helpful and nice. Our room was very tiny, but the bed was comfortable, we have a partial view too to the lake. The breakfast was very delicious, dinner was ok.
Everything. The room was pretty and clean, the hotel is only five minutes walk to the center of Balatonföldvár and even though its near the street it was pretty quiet at night. We couldn’t think of a better place to stay at balaton.
The staff was extremely friendly and hospitable. I felt comfortable staying there immediately. Every single person I interacted with was wonderful. They make you feel like you're staying at a luxury hotel.

Its a simple old school hotel. Food and everything is simple and old school. The beach is super close. Food is acceptable :) I went there to sleep and for that it is excellent :)

Good hotel, better than expected. Rooms are very hot, but we were lucky with the winds and had the balcony door open. Comfortable beds.
