The place is family owned which has its own vibe. The location is amazing and serene. The staff was more than welcoming and made you feel like friends or family. Food was super delicious at their place as well. I cannot recommend this place enough!

The location is perfect in the middle of the island, so we could easily do trips all over. The apartment was nicely furnished, and the beds were very comfortable. The host was extremely nice. I would highly recommend it if you want peace and quiet in the middle of nature with easy access to a beach, other towns and the national park by car.

Great location on the water. Jelena was always available and very welcoming and friendly. She also rented us bikes for us to take to the national park. Room was very quiet and comfortable. Kitchenette and fridge were very useful for safe catering.
Very small town on a very small beautiful island. It's peaceful but sparce, one restaurant and a 15-20 minute drive to the nearest grocery store and ATM. The worst part of the entire area was the road into town. For about 5 minutes it's a two way road with only enough space for one car, there are frequent cutouts but your driving on the side of a mountain sometimes with no guard rail. Having to reverse down that in the dark when another car was coming at us was not for the faint of heart. It's a quiet area with a very small rocky beach. We spent most of our time in Mljet National Park as that was much easier for our young children to swim.
The apartment is in a small peaceful village, that has a beach suitable for children as well. Rooms are simply furnished but super clean, have all you might need, all desinfection means and masks. The view from terrace is breathtaking. The owner is very friendly, gave us good tips for travelling and also she is a great cook. We enjoyed her welcome snacks, freshly baked breads and seafood dinners. This is our 5th time in Croatia but Mljet and Kozarica will be in our return list together with Dora appartment.
Kozarica is a hidden gem on the mystical island of Mljet, off the main road about halfway between the ferry port of Sobra and Mljet NP. It gets very few visitors and you can take a short walk to a wonderful beach nearby (see photo). We selected the simplest room and it was indeed simple, but we could sit right out front and enjoy amazing views over Mljet Strait and the karst mountains of Peljesac Peninsula beyond. This was a comfortable place to stay while exploring the unique island of Mljet.
What a nice stay we had in Kozarica. The apartment has a fantastic view on the sea and the closest beach is only 50m away. Our hosts Luka and Lucija were very nice and helpful. Kozarica is a very small and peaceful village, perfect to enjoy some quietness and relax. A car is needed to visit the island but it’s very easy and not stressful to drive around as there is little traffic. Overall we warmly recommend this accommodation.
Beautiful family-run property with a restaurant on-site serving delicious breakfast and dinner. Martin, the hotel owner, provided us complimentary beers upon arrival and helped celebrate a friends birthday by decorating the room. About halfway between ferry point and national park. About 20 minute drive to Mljet national park which is a great way to relax and take in greenery.
The staff were so kind. I unfortunately arrived on the ferry from Dubrovnik very ill and ended up being taken to the islands tiny but brilliant hospital by ambulance. My host drove all over the island finding lost bags and finally took me back to the hotel and looked after me. What a lovely place to recuperate. Thank you all so much. xx
Clean, balcony with a view to the sea. I recommend to order a diner, which is not expensive but home made. We felt not like in a hotel, but in a family atmosphere, which is nice to feel the rythm of the locals. The Rooms are very good value and should be Your first choice. Also good parking in a garage.
Fabulous food and very warm hospitality in this family-run hotel. Marin looked after us so well, and it was a delight too spend time with him and his mother Nicka. Kozarica is a quiet and magical corner of Mljet and it was a privilege to stay there.
Very kindly staff. The apartment was clean and with nice seaview. They haven't got any problems with our dog and didn't want extra money for dog. Recommend to people who wants chill & comfortable holidays in romantic village Kozarica.
