Everything!!! I was blown away by the quality of the room, the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, and the good food at the restaurant attached to the property(literally has an ocean view from your table). I don’t speak Spanish well, and so the staff helped me multiple times with getting taxis without hesitation. Whenever I needed help someone was always there, even at odd hours of the night. I don’t think there could possibly be a better hotel in all of La Ceiba. I plan on staying here during my next visit.

La Ceiba is not really somewhere to stay for too long as it's really just a port town that you stay before going to the islands. It's got plenty of shops and restaurants to eat and see but generally, it's just another city that will fall into the back of your mind once you've left.

The food was great. Kayaking was fantastic. Las Hamacus hotel and Apart Pico Bonito hotel were both great places to stay. I would not recommend staying at the Omega Eco Jungle Tours Resort. The hospitality was terrible and the pool did not work.
The hotel has a nice pool with a great view of the “jungle” and you can see the waterfall. From the restaurant and balcony you can enjoy the same view. The staff and owner were very friendly and checked on me and made sure if I needed something. I was upgraded to a larger room (with a shower with good water pressure), which was nice, because I was the only guest.
You can use the kitchen and fridge and there is a water tank. The hotel can arrange activities like rafting or hiking if you like.
Breakfast that is included in the room is a good typical Honduran breakfast. Other options are available for purchase. Great bartender and wait staff. Very friendly and professional cleaning staff. Location is right downtown La Ceiba which worked well for us - easy to get transportation and good access to food options. Good security. Nice laundry service. Very clean rooms.
Richard and the staff were very kind to me. I spent 3 weeks there alone, and It felt like home. I was cared by all of them. Their recommended me some tours also. The food is from another planet, I felt in love with it!!! The beach is beautiful and very peaceful. If you come to Honduras, you should visit La Ceiba. And definitely be at La Delphina!!!

A magic location (jungle up the hill and the gorgeous river down it) with a lovely (but cold) natural pool. Large rooms, decorated with character. Really friendly and attentive staff. Excellent food. We loved taking the hotel dog for a stroll in the jungle grounds.
The property is on the beach and the view was amazing. I was there for almost a month, so it was a very good value. My hosts, Eduardo and Melissa, went out of their way to make sure that I was comfortable. My room was basic, but it did have a small refrigerator.
Casandra was a great host since my arrival, very helpful and caring, the place is clean and comfy with an amazing pool.Location is great, by a really quite beach and she has the best dogs ever: Max and Maggy, they will walk with you by the beach , so nice.
the hotel was in a wonderful location, easy to get too and had paths to the river. our room was large and comfortable although we spent little time there. the staff was very friendly and helpful. the pool was beautiful and the beer was cold.
Great little hotel to stay in La ceiba. I did not connect my ferry to go to the islands and they accepted me to stay all day previous to my stay, using their ammenities and working in their facilities. This was a great help!
The hotel had a nice Chinese restaurant downstairs, for which, the food tasted authentic. The room was really spacious and plenty of light. They cleaned every day and the shower was very clean.
The villas de mar is close to the main beach in la ceiba, the staff is really friendly andis a perfect place to stay in la ceiba to wait for the ferry for the islands the day after.
