Although it's not easy to understand from description we were staying in separate villa. It gives you enough privacy. It is very nice stone house, modernly equipped with beautiful pool of 4x6m (please take this as assumption only). On ground floor there is a bathroom (with shower), kitchen (I would say fully equipped with big fridge, oven, microwave and number of appliances for coffe or toast), small living area and bedroom with 2 separate beds. On 1st floor it is underroof room with king size bed and bathroom (with shower). Outside is nice sitting area (under the roof, so it is in the shade) with barbecue place and pool. It absolutely met expectation of my family.

George and the staff were very accommodating. we arrived very late yet someone was there to greet us. the shower was fantastic - the best we had on our trip. breakfast was very good too. close to food, shops and the beach.

What can I say, unbelievable stay! Maybe the best stay during our vacation in Greece From Vera who welcomed us to the owner they are very kind, welcoming and very helpful! The owner herself called and gave me information about the local ferry. They upgraded us to a bigger 2 bedroom and was super clean, with a/c units in both rooms (the mattress were very comfortable) full kitchen with all the necessary (it also had a dishwasher). The bathroom was big with sliding glass door shower.it also had a big balcony overlooking the sea!
It has a mini market and coffee shop literally steps from the building entrance.
Next vacation we will plan a visit to Lefkada just to stay there!!

In September, Vasiliki is quiet, chilled and everything is still open but apparently, is very busy and lively July/August. Plenty of wind surfing, snorkelling. paddle boarding and diving from which to choose or car and bicycle hire are also available. Daily direct ferries from the harbour to Fiskado (Kefalonia); for a visit or onward journey. Plenty of good sea food restaurants around the harbour, in the town and on Ponti beach (sandy) which is a fifteen minute walk around the bay from Vasiliki beach (pebbles). A visit to Lefkada Town (an hour away by bus for about 3 euros) can be reached travelling through some wonderful scenery.

My first review where i gave the property 1 Star(1 Smiley...
My first review where i gave the property 1 Star(1 Smiley Face) was based on my initial impression of the property when we arrived.
We were greeted by an extremely friendly Manager Stellios who seemed to be run off his feet and the only person trying to do "everything"-run the Bar ,man the Reception, answer multiple questions from guests etc.etc.
When we arrived in the room the toilet roll was falling off the wall,the light in the bathroom was not working and the sink plug was jammed.
l went down stairs and asked Stellios if he could kindly be able to fix the problems with the room-he told me he would get on it right away and over the next few days(3 days) they were gradually fixed.
My review was based on the problems with the room,NOTHING else.
The room was extremely clean and tidy and the staff were super friendly.
l think Stellios an extremely likable and friendly guy but he needs a dedicated Reception person to book guests in and handle any inquiries or concerns they may have-basically he is overworked and trying to do everything at the detriment of his wonderful Hotel.
It is for the reasons above i am amending my initial initial review to 4 Stars from the original 1 Star.

Really liked the layout of the town.
Really liked the layout of the town. I liked the wide paved pathway along the seafront. Very pleasant to stroll along, particularly in the evening. A good selection of restaurants and bars. Really good location for those who like windsurfing or other watersports as there is a pleasant breeze. Beautiful mountains all around. Some amazing beaches nearby -Porto Katsiki, can be reached by car or boat, Efimea can only be reached by boat . Both have shale and sand . You need to bring your own sun shade very few facilities on the beach.

Vasiliki is located at the end of a valley full of olive trees, lemons and other specific Mediterranean vegetation, surrounded by spectacular mountains, which offer peace and a relaxing view.
The beach, consisting of both pebbles and sand, is long and borders a very picturesque bay to the north, with calm and shallow water, ideal for water sports.
Along the beach and in the harbor there are numerous taverns, restaurants and souvenir shops. Another advantage is the proximity to the other points of attraction on the island, both from the eastern side (Nidri port, with cruise departures) and the western beaches (Porto Katsiki, Egremni).

The centre is lovely with many shops and restaurants. We ate at a wood oven pizza restaurant on the harbour which was very nice, really good pizza. We also ate at a gyro place also really good near harbour and can recommend bakery across from BP garage, look out for the horse at the garage.
There are several beaches within the area if you are good at walking.

Vasiliki is beautiful little village with great tavernas and shops. The location is perfect starting point for touring Lefkada.
Great places to eat:

The staff i very welcoming, polite and helpful. Hotel room is big enough and comfortable for three people, and very clean. The air conditioning is running smoothly. Hygiene is at the highest level. The wifi is excellent and the signal is steong even in the beach. The location of the hotel is a minite walk to the beach and its location at Vasiliki ia perfect for car toirs to.both parts of the island. I highly recommend to book this hotel for a vacation
Its closet to the sea. To the beach. To the stores around You. Food. Everthing. Its quiet. Its clean. Everything functional in the room. And the owners are such amazing and kind. It was always a pleasure to talk to them. I will definetly come back. Vasiliki in my opinion is the best. Close to every highlight beaches. You can rent a car/Buggy beach/atv from 10 minutes walk. I can't say anything more. I enjoyed every minute of this Holiday.
I liked the cleanliness of the place - every day the room was cleaned and every 2 days the towels and bed sheets where changed. The very good AC was a life saver during the heat wave that was during my holiday. The location is very close to the beach in Vasiliki, to a small market and a traditional bakery is just over the road - I bought from there very good bread.
A friendly welcome. A well maintained hotel in a wonderful location by the beach . Good parking and well maintained gardens. Great to see swallow nesting on parts of the hotel. A lovely sized bedroom with direct views of the pool and sea. Definitely would stay here again.

Great view from balcony, there was a lift to help with luggage up 4 stories. My family of 5 (kids 9,7, & 6) fit comfortably with plenty of space for everyone. The people working there were nice and helpful. There was a pool, but we didn’t use it but it looked nice. Very convenient to town, beaches, restaurants, grocery stores etc.
Enjoyable stay at Elena’s super comfortable place on Lefkada. We were enchanted by the island and 350m above sea is ideally located to explore both the amazing beaches and untouched mountain villages. afternoon itself is a small mountain village with two wonderful tavernas which even provide a delivery service!

We liked a lot the apartment, very specious, everything was clean and well equiped. Verry good position close the the Vasiliki beach and the taverns. The host is verry friendly, he gaved us some good informations on what to visit were to eat good food. Best place we stayed so far in Greece. Hope we can come back next year.
Great place! Very nice furniture, very well equipped, great terrace and location, just next to the Vasiliki port. The host was very nice and friendly. They have prepared some additional items and food to use. We totally recommend the place and would love to stay there again next time in Lefkada!
Orfeas was very kind and helpful. The room was clean and had perfect location with the balcony just above the beautiful sea of Vasiliki. Great value for money. Also very nice to have the small supermarket just downstairs. We are definitely coming back next time we go to Lefkada.
The hotel location is excelent, right in the main street of Vasiliki, with markets, restaurants and many stores. The staff was kind and friendly. The breakfast was good, with a good variety of options and the butter croissant was delicious! The room is exactly as the photos.

Good and clean hotel in Vasiliki. Because of early season, they upgraded our room. Room has a big space and it was new. Resort is very near to restaurants and cafes in Vasiliki. Breakfast was okay. There is a private beach in front of the resort.
Beautiful location in Ponti. Easy walk down to the centre and Vasiliki only about 15mins away. Host was amazing, easy and quick communication. Apartment was spotless, very comfortable with an awesome shower and has the best view in Ponti.
