Although it's not easy to understand from description we were staying in separate villa. It gives you enough privacy. It is very nice stone house, modernly equipped with beautiful pool of 4x6m (please take this as assumption only). On ground floor there is a bathroom (with shower), kitchen (I would say fully equipped with big fridge, oven, microwave and number of appliances for coffe or toast), small living area and bedroom with 2 separate beds. On 1st floor it is underroof room with king size bed and bathroom (with shower). Outside is nice sitting area (under the roof, so it is in the shade) with barbecue place and pool. It absolutely met expectation of my family.

Good and clean hotel in Vasiliki. Because of early season, they upgraded our room. Room has a big space and it was new. Resort is very near to restaurants and cafes in Vasiliki. Breakfast was okay. There is a private beach in front of the resort.

George and the staff were very accommodating. we arrived very late yet someone was there to greet us. the shower was fantastic - the best we had on our trip. breakfast was very good too. close to food, shops and the beach.

What can I say, unbelievable stay! Maybe the best stay during our vacation in Greece From Vera who welcomed us to the owner they are very kind, welcoming and very helpful! The owner herself called and gave me information about the local ferry. They upgraded us to a bigger 2 bedroom and was super clean, with a/c units in both rooms (the mattress were very comfortable) full kitchen with all the necessary (it also had a dishwasher). The bathroom was big with sliding glass door shower.it also had a big balcony overlooking the sea!
It has a mini market and coffee shop literally steps from the building entrance.
Next vacation we will plan a visit to Lefkada just to stay there!!

In September, Vasiliki is quiet, chilled and everything is still open but apparently, is very busy and lively July/August. Plenty of wind surfing, snorkelling. paddle boarding and diving from which to choose or car and bicycle hire are also available. Daily direct ferries from the harbour to Fiskado (Kefalonia); for a visit or onward journey. Plenty of good sea food restaurants around the harbour, in the town and on Ponti beach (sandy) which is a fifteen minute walk around the bay from Vasiliki beach (pebbles). A visit to Lefkada Town (an hour away by bus for about 3 euros) can be reached travelling through some wonderful scenery.

My first review where i gave the property 1 Star(1 Smiley...
My first review where i gave the property 1 Star(1 Smiley Face) was based on my initial impression of the property when we arrived.
We were greeted by an extremely friendly Manager Stellios who seemed to be run off his feet and the only person trying to do "everything"-run the Bar ,man the Reception, answer multiple questions from guests etc.etc.
When we arrived in the room the toilet roll was falling off the wall,the light in the bathroom was not working and the sink plug was jammed.
l went down stairs and asked Stellios if he could kindly be able to fix the problems with the room-he told me he would get on it right away and over the next few days(3 days) they were gradually fixed.
My review was based on the problems with the room,NOTHING else.
The room was extremely clean and tidy and the staff were super friendly.
l think Stellios an extremely likable and friendly guy but he needs a dedicated Reception person to book guests in and handle any inquiries or concerns they may have-basically he is overworked and trying to do everything at the detriment of his wonderful Hotel.
It is for the reasons above i am amending my initial initial review to 4 Stars from the original 1 Star.

Really liked the layout of the town.
Really liked the layout of the town. I liked the wide paved pathway along the seafront. Very pleasant to stroll along, particularly in the evening. A good selection of restaurants and bars. Really good location for those who like windsurfing or other watersports as there is a pleasant breeze. Beautiful mountains all around. Some amazing beaches nearby -Porto Katsiki, can be reached by car or boat, Efimea can only be reached by boat . Both have shale and sand . You need to bring your own sun shade very few facilities on the beach.

Vasiliki is located at the end of a valley full of olive trees, lemons and other specific Mediterranean vegetation, surrounded by spectacular mountains, which offer peace and a relaxing view.
The beach, consisting of both pebbles and sand, is long and borders a very picturesque bay to the north, with calm and shallow water, ideal for water sports.
Along the beach and in the harbor there are numerous taverns, restaurants and souvenir shops. Another advantage is the proximity to the other points of attraction on the island, both from the eastern side (Nidri port, with cruise departures) and the western beaches (Porto Katsiki, Egremni).

The centre is lovely with many shops and restaurants. We ate at a wood oven pizza restaurant on the harbour which was very nice, really good pizza. We also ate at a gyro place also really good near harbour and can recommend bakery across from BP garage, look out for the horse at the garage.
There are several beaches within the area if you are good at walking.

Vasiliki is beautiful little village with great tavernas and shops. The location is perfect starting point for touring Lefkada.
Great places to eat:

The Grand Nefeli is an excellent hotel, situated literally on the beach. The room we had was very spacious, modern, and with sea views. The staff was really friendly. The included breakfast was astonishing. Home-made pastries, eggs, bacon, sausages, salads, fruits, cheese, yogurt. The beach in front of the hotel was sandy (not pebbles). The hotel had beach chairs where you were offered drinks and food. Vasiliki, where the hotel is, has a natural protected bay where you can do windsurfing or sail with small catamarans.
The Staff are exceptionally nice and friendly! We were greeted by the host with a welcome drink and Storious at the reception sorted out all in a professional manner! We had a spacious ground floor room and could walk to the beach 30m away and lots of restaurants and shops in 1-2 minutes!
The location is excellent and for kids it’s a paradise! The pool is a welcome refresher after the beach!
The hotel has a nice charm about it and we extended our stay! Coming back because it was so relaxing!

The apertemnt itself is very spacious with huge windows to the bay, both from the bedroom and the shower.
Because its location, you enjoy the wonderful views, the peace and quiet, while being just a few hundred meters from the center.
We had a vacation we would surely remember for a very long time, and this great place had definitely contributed to these wonderful feelings.
The apartment was cozy, well equiped, very comfortable. It is in a quit area, very close to the centre of Vasiliki and to the beach, you can go easily to the other beaches (by car). The owner is very friendly, helpful. We had a pleasent surprise made by the owner - a pie and cold juise and water. The apartament was cleaned every day, the girls from the cleaning were amasing and talented. It was a very lovely stay
We had an apartment for 4 and it was comfortable. There is a good size pool and the hotel is close to the sandy end of the beach at Ponti but also only 10 minutes from the pretty marina. There are various restaurants on the seafront 5 minutes walk away. The hoteliers. are a family and they were very helpful and kind. You don’t need a car in Vasiliki (we caught the bus to Nidri without problem).
The owner was very nice, he didn't mind doing anything for us. He advised us what to see in the neighbourhood and told us about Greece and greek habits. The property is very clean and really close to the beach. We had little children with us so it was important for us not to cross the main road that goes through Vasuliki. And the pool was a success for the children.
I liked absolutely everything! Clean room, comfortable bed, big bathroom, nice balcony, free parking, very friendly staff, fabulous breakfast, private beach, great location in Vasiliki, about 10 min walk from the busy center. It was perfect for us and I would definitely like to go back to Porto Fico Hotel with other occasion.

me a ride to the other station, when the bus to

You have the beach and good taverns very close,

Stuff is polite, rooms are being cleaned daily, center of Vasiliki with shops and tavernas is less then 5 minutes walk distance. Air-conditioning is good, parking is safe and beach in front of a hotel is nice to drink your first coffee in the morning before you head to numerous beaches Lefkada island offers.
The whole place is a jewel. It is a beautiful house well refurbished and in good style. we felt at home. The place is close (150 m) to a small private-like beach, which has pebbles. It is suitable for people who seek relaxation and peace! Close to all the best spots in Lefkada. We can only recommend!
Our stay was wonderful! Niko was super warm and helpful throughout our entire time, recommending places for dinner and drinks in the town. The view was beautiful, and the extra free amenities were great (kayaks at the private beach, bikes). The beds were very comfortable!
