Ate very good breakfasts at bakery and grocery store down the block. The location of hotel was excellent central location for access to waterfront and the most notable archeological sites. Exceptional restaurants were short distances from hotel. Our hotel was clean and comfortable. Our hotelier was unfailingly cheerful and helpful. Imparted enlightening insights into local scene and island history.

It was one of the best hotel i have ever stayed. Location is great 1,5 km to centre.Near the seaside in front of trees,birds and great nature.Room is clean,new and quality new equipments.They give us welcome wine also.

Pythagoreio is the cutest town on the island of Samos with beautiful views on the sea. The two main streets are exceptionally beautiful to look at during sunset, but all the other streets are marvellous as well. Off season is nice and quiet there, you can just wander around and have a coffee and read a book for days on end. …or sit by the sea and have a drink and chat with the locals.
Restaurant “Ambrosia” is totally authentic in greek cuisine with a super awesome, familiar, funny and attentive service. We went to this restaurant once a day for six days — for brunch or for dinner. Loved by kids and adults alike.

Pythagoreio is an adorable town with various options of great food, beaches, and great views. It was our first time in Greece and we absolutely loved every minute of our stay. Definitely recommend it to everyone and I'm sure that one day we will go back.

Pythagorion is in south of Samos.
Pythagorion is in south of Samos. So it has very important issue to keep in mind. The winds in Aegean sea mostly are northern wind , it may be pleasent at high seasons but sometimes it is boring to have waves all the time. Since we live in around Aegean sea our preference is always south costs where south wind is seldom and nice breeze from north.

Architecture is typical of Aegean. Main street is closed to traffic after noon time. There are lots of cafe and restaurant alternatives in town. Free car parking is availlable. There was no place to performs greek music or sirtaki dance.

We were only visiting Samos as it was the only way to visit Patmos. However we so enjoyed our stay that we were grateful that we had the chance to spend a bit of time on the island. We hope to return for a longer visit.
I'm very happy, that I chose Hotel Dolphin for my stay. The owner is very polite and helpful, same time she leaves you all privacy you need. Room was cleaned every day. Hotel is very well located, you are closed to everything. You have everything you need - aircon and hot water to take a shower in room is also small fridge. I'm very grateful for my stay in this place. If one day it happens that you I come back to Samos, I would love to stay in this hotel again.
First of all dear Alex and Anastasia, very hospitality and nice people. Their suggestions about island was amazing.. Hotel is really good located and perfect seascape. Almost every room has a sea window and balcony. Also perfect clean rooms, very good pool and relax atmosphere. We didn’t have chance yo eat but restorant should be impressive. You can also have fun and good time with children. As a result thanks for everything!
Hotel was ideally situated for the harbour and all it has to offer in the way of shops and tavernas. A quiet road with little noise. Friendly staff and a pleasant ambiance.
Breakfast was too much for us after a dinner the night before, so only had it twice during our stay. Not a buffet, a selection of plates brought to the table with a variety of food - yoghurt, eggs, ham, cheese and bread. Was more than adequate.
Perfect location, taking into account that in Samos you need to travel around by car or taxi. It’s equidistant the best beach we found, Psili Amos and the town we went to eat in the evening, Pythagoreio. All the staff are great. Very clean rooms. Beautiful beach next to hotel
We had a very enjoyable stay at Hera 2. The view is sensational, you just can't get enough of it day or night. The hotel is charming and full of with character and Despina and her husband are the most warm, delightful people who take good care of you during your stay.
The best part of my stay there was Ellie’s help! She is the maid/manager there who was wonderful and so helpful when I needed it most. The location of the hotel is excellent because it’s close to everything in the town, but don’t get the budget room like I did.
We spent just one night in Pythagoreio but the hotel is comfortable for the main attractions and really close to the port where every day you can take a boat and discover some island beaches or the closest islands

The hotel conveniently located in the small town of Pythagoreio. The recent construction is of very high quality and adds to the luxurious ambiance. Breakfast is good and hotel facilities are outstanding.
We have a comfortable stay in this hotel. Small kitchenette was a bonus. We like the small balcony and the view. The entrance of the property was beautiful with colourful flowers and the terrace.
Angela who was the only staff in the hotel (apart from the cleaners) has been helpful and nice. The view from the hotel, rooms and pool is spectacular. Those are the only two good things.
New. Quirky. rooms facing beach are too small. No place to put your clothes. Hotel was built for the pleasure of the architect rather than that of guests. Too expensive for what you get.
