We loved everything we did in Pyrgos.
We loved everything we did in Pyrgos. We were able to walk to the village and the winery. We also were able to rent a car and see the island!
Be open about needing to stop and figure out where you are. We walked 20K steps each day and sometimes backtracked because we don't read the local language. But the moments of looking lost allowed us to connect with other travelers who made great selections.
The trails were wonderful. The sunsets were spectacular. We visited a little off season, so there were no crowds.
I hadn't driven a manual transmission in 30 years, it took a minute to gain my confidence. If you plan to rent a car try to refresh the skills, steep hills is not the place to learn to use a clutch!
One of my favorite memories was an afternoon at Triana tavern. Enjoy!

Great restaurants, great bakery, amazing views of the sunset from the castle / Franco's Bar. The gyros cafe in the square served the best gyros I've had in Greece and it was very well priced.
Mataroa restaurant is genuinely fantastic - the octopus was amazing.

Absolutely stunning little village.
Absolutely stunning little village. Friendly locals and lots of restaurants. You can easily walk around and there are busstops to help you easily access the rest of santorini if you don’t want to pay for taxis.

A lovely town close to our hotel.
A lovely town close to our hotel. Less congested than Fira and more relaxed than Oia. We had lunch at one restaurant and dinner at another. Both experiences were excellent. Town has useful amenities like petrol, pharmacy and supermarket and great views down to the Caldera cliff tops.

- much quieter than thera or oia - which was perfect. you see occasional group of tourists but thats all
- lovely restaurants
- most beautiful views from the top of the hill
- no traffic- as cars not allowed past bottom of Pyrgos
Our favourite places for dinner was Rosemary, Cava Alta and To Psaraki. Agaze, Brusco, Kantouni and Penelopes for breakfast/ brunch.
its really easy to get around pyrgos but we got lost so many times getting to our villa on the top :)
make sure you wear comfortable shoes, wedges acceptable , heels absolutely not :)
We had a great time here, it’s a brand new property, beautiful modern design. Superb views from our terrace and hot tub. Lots of space for our family of four and well equipped.
It’s in a secluded spot which is great to relax in away from the busy tourist spots. But it’s only a few minutes to Pyrgos or onto Fira.
Elizabeth was a superb welcoming host and helped with recommendations around the island.
The regular maid service was appreciated too.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and will stay again.
Perfect stay for everything. The way of serving breakfast was fantastic. The views from room were epic. There is a rest room with shower for late- home- flight customers. Appreciated it:)
Pyrgos old town morning walks before the breakfast - liked it very much. Pyrgos looks more authentic and 'tasty" than Oia or Fira (for us too crowded commercialized cities).
Hotel is located in the center of Santorini- everything is in short distance (by car, scooter).
Very quiet at night. Great location in Pyrgos village. Good breakfast included and delivered every morning. House keeping service every other day. Hostess was excellent and very welcoming. The house is a beautiful traditional house with lots of light in the morning. Comfy bed and couch. Some might complain the about the uphill walk getting to the house but it was not bad at all, not suitable for disabled though.
Skyfall Suites was a great boutique hotel stay in Santorini! It's in a more "authentic" area of the island and the views of the vineyards and mountain are stunning! The food was farm to table and everything was made in house (even the butter and jam at breakfast). The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and comfortable, as well. This was definitely a highlight of our stay!
The accommodation was excellent very spacious and spotlessly clean. we loved being away from the hustle & bustle of Fira and being able to visit there and other parts of the island, as we wanted using the public bus service. we used whatsapp when we needed a taxi organised from the airport and to the port.
stavroula was a very accommodating host and we highly recommend this lovely apartment in Pyrgos.
we had the most amazing stay!! Santorini is insanely beautiful!!
our suite was like one of a 5 star ++ hotel. but perhaps what made our stay most enjoyable was ELISABETH! the friendly and kind way she dealt with us we literally thought SHE OWNS THE HOTEL!
it’s also well located as it’s got the calm quite pyrgos vibes yet still not far from other places
Very satisfied with the hotel and the staff members. All very very kind and super responsive via whatsapp messages. Also pool and spa facilities are great, the water was a bit cold but the technician came within 5 minutes to fix the temperature in our room spa. Also the massages were immaculate. Lastly, food was super tasty - Loved the salmon tataki.
If we could rate this hotel higher than 10,we would. It was exceptional from start to finish. Such an amazing place. Owners and staff could not do enough for us and made our whole trip stress free, special and unforgettable. Our room was stunning in a beautiful setting and the location was perfect ❤️
I can not recommend this beautiful hotel enough!
The property is beautiful and well kept. The staff were great and very helpful. It's great value for money. There are restaurants within walking distance, Pyrgos being the best one. Breakfast was delicious and I was very surprised how good the hotels' restaurant food was. Overall a very pleasant experience.
We loved everything about the hotel. Very comfortable, great breakfasts, wonderful staff. We were celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday, and the hotel made him feel so special with their welcoming message and gifts. Thank you so much for your hospitality!
Stunning apartment, very comfortable beds. Loved staying across the street from a playground. Guaranteed parking a huge bonus in the area. Pyrgos was the best place to stay in santorini. Would come back to this hotel in a heartbeat
Beautiful hotel with amazing view, location was in a quiet area, need a car to go to Oia or Fira. Room size is big. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Food is great , especially the churros. Spa looks nice but didn’t try it.
The property is beautiful, we loved our room and the main hotel pool. The breakfast was delicious and the people were the best! Yannis and all of his staff were so caring and helpful, we would come back in a heartbeat!
We enjoyed the layout of the room and all the places outside to sit and enjoy the weather and views. The hotel was nicely located among many restaurants, a short walk to santo wines, and just steps from pyrgos square.
Nice neighborhood, clean room, nice food comes to your room daily based on your choice, very small private pool, helpful staff (arranged car rental, taxi to port, things to do in Santorini), free parking to the hotel
Amazing stay. The service was outstanding, the staff recommended great restaurants and activities during the day. I would back to this hotel without second thoughts!!
Everything was perfect in Gin Wellness Hotel, the room
was very sunny and clean, during morning i did yoga practice(they give me yoga mat!).See you again on July!
