Very friendly owner. We did had later check in , he waited for us greeted. There is private secure parking in from of the hotel, so we could leave our car just right next to the hotel door. We god good room on the second floor with small balcony and sea view, and even we stayed for one night, it was nice to get this view anyway. Breakfast was good and location of hotel is in good distance to the sea, literally 5-7 minutes max and also very close to the center.

Amazing city - pleasant walks next to the sea, great views, nightlife, delicious food. Restaurants to visit - Zourafa, for amazing sea food, Λούκουλος - with tables next to the sea. You need to make reservations.
Parking is difficult in the center, need to use a paid parking place. You can take a walk on the Apolloniados street that gets closed for cars in the evening.

I guess it is the right city for beach vacations. Not much to do If you are looking for historical attractions I would not rate Alexanroupoli high. It has a few very small museums. Two of them I've visited. It is possible to walk to them. One at the city center ethnography museum. I'd recommend visiting. It won't take a lot of time, but the atmosphere there is nice.
Also, there is a small archeological museum, something like 2,5 km away from the center.
The local tavernas has a tasty food. the prices are reasonable.
The beaches are slightly out of the city, but not too far. Nice sand

A great place for beach life and to explore the area, take a trip off the main drag and explore the mountains and plains for the area , its was busy in the centre off season, prepare for crowds when the summer hits. restaurants in the area are hit and miss with prices around 30 euro for two for a very basic meal ,without alcohol in 2023, want fish or seafood then add a lot more. I cant believe they are still charging 2-3 euro for a small portion of bread which seems to be mandatory, english not spoken everywhere, bring your phase book. easy access to islands if you can find a place to book your ferry.

Alexandroupoli (Dedeağaç) is the nearest town in Greece to Turkish border. Therefore it attracts lots of Turkish tourists especially on weekends. There are many good taverns amd bars. We like it very much. I would recommend Agora for meat lunch, Nisiotiko and Saint George's Tavern in Makri (10km) for seafood dinner. Avoid sundays if you like to do some shopping all shops are closed.
The hotel is spacious most of the rooms have great sea view the air conditioning is pretty good it is able to keep the room cold. The beds were the biggest I have seen in a hotel. Plenty of parking space good location alway from noise but still you need car to get to the center of the city which is about 7-8km west or to get to the best beach in the region located near ammo ammo beach bar which is located 6-7km east of the hotel. The staff was very good and friendly.
A-Z it was a perfect stay. Thanks to Sakis, he was always ready to help with anything. I've been to Alex many times, but this was the best stay. The location is perfectly central, but also quite, on the second floor with a lift option. It was super clean and had all the amenities. Small details like an espresso machine with coffee offered by Sakis. I highly recommend this place. Also a parking option in front of the hotel was much appreciated!!

Breakfast is superb, Covid precautions are exceptional and not disturbing.

First of all, really kind and polite stuff!! Then, the pool was amazing with a lot of swimming space and with option to take a lunch or drink there!! For last, the best breakfast in the town, lots of options and high quality products ether from greece or english or america dishes. This breakfast save the whole state and my rating!! Keep this level guys and make some changes inside and outside (sea beach)!!
I arrived very early due to an early flight coming from Athens and when I got to the hotel the room was already available which was wonderful. They did say that even if the room was not ready that there was a place to leave luggage. The location is very close to the harbor and I was able to walk to the ferry in the morning. It is also very central to the main streets and sites of Alexandroupolis.
I absolutely liked the location. It is more or less close to everything in the city. I came and night and was a bit worried about how can I get to the hotel, but it was very easy by simple walking. The hotel staff is friendly, they all speak English and look forward to help. The room is very clean. Nice breakfast. It is a few steps away from nice restaurants for lunch and dinner and beach bar.
The host was most kind, helpful and yielding. There was a free parking place near the apartment. The street was peaceful and quiet though very near the promenade. The apartment -and the whole building - was modern and clean. We stayed there two nights instead of one.
Alexandroupoli became one of my favorite cities in Greece. The ferry to Samothraki left near-by.

A cozy hotel in a quiet and peaceful place near the city center and the promenade by the sea. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and the manager is extremely hospitable. There is a lounge for relaxation and a spacious breakfast room where they serve a delicious breakfast with good coffee or tea.
Nice hotel in the city. Close to walk for major attractives. Limited parking spots in front of the hotel but big free public parking is ver close. Room size is OK. 1 double and 1 single bed were in the room. The room is clean and air condition is enogh. Breakfast has good options (except black tea bags)
This is a small hotel with a big heart. It is run by various members of the same family who attend to different tasks. Polite, very friendly, generous. We enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation to recommend it to others visiting the surprisingly charming town of Alexandroupoli
The apartment is located at the center of Alexandroupoli where you can find amazing restaurants and cafes nearby. It was pretty spacious and comfortable for two. You can find free parking spots on the street. The complimentary Kavala kourabiedes were so delicious.
Absolutely perfect! The apartment was clean and big with a very nice balcony. Everything inside was new and the bed was super comfortable, one of the best hotel pillows i've slept on. The beach is on a 10-15 minute walk as well as the inner city.
