It is super overrated and terribly run place. The person who manages it was extremely rude and absolutely ignorant to my legitimate question about Non Smoking room which was booked based on the description, that this place has specifically designated areas for smoking.

We used the Philippos Hotel as a stopping point on the way to the north.
The location is ideal, with easy access to the port and shopping. Car parking was free, although the hotel has three parking bays right outside, but all were taken.
Thanassis was on duty that evening, and Katerina the next morning, and both were friendly and knowledgeable, with excellent English.
