I cannot begin to say how wonderful my stay with Oliver and Hele at Tedinkoto Lodge was. Truly, words cannot do justice. The room, pool, and compound were lovely. The best bed, bathroom and sitting area I experienced during my month in West Africa. And each morning, sitting outside my room to watch the birds was the perfect start. Followed by a delicious breakfast and off into town or to the beach. Do yourself a favor and eat your way through all their dinner options. Because, again, this food is as good as five-star restaurants but served in a quiet, serene setting. I only stayed one week, but I will be back soon. If you haven't booked your trip to The Gambia and your stay at this lodge, do it right now. I have stayed all over the world and this has been one of the top experiences in lodging ever. The hosts will go beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay. Fantastic hospitality combined with great food and a perfect location!

The place was really nice Paradise Beach is the right name for the beach there.. Quiet and peaceful place. Super staff, very helpful. (Except Gaz ..watch the money and on him). Others were really very friendly and helpful. I must mention Mr Ousman who was really amazing.
Very basic European style breakfasts but you can arrange local ones :). Other foods were very tasty. Big praise to the cooks.

Let me tell you, we are talking about 36 countries over 4 years of constant travelling. Jawla the owner of the place is a special human being, great communicator, with solid values and humanity. I learned a lot from him and I definitely recommend you to check this place out ASAP.
His staff is also lovely and they make sure to accommodate every guest's needs and expectations.
I checked in for a couple of days and I ended up staying for an entire month and It was really difficult to leave! In conclusion, It felt home more than my actual home! A piece of my heart will be staying in this place! ❤️❤️

The staff make the place so welcoming, and it's at the end of the beach furthest from the horrible fish factory so there's less smell. This is a really peaceful place with a good vibe, we're just sad to only have one night there before flying!
