The staff were really helpful and friendly. They changed our room from the front, on a busy road, to the back. The restaurant was excellent and the food amazing.
Vivonne is a small town but has 2 squares which are lovely.
Vivonne is a small town but has 2 squares which are lovely. It is a good stop off place if you are just travelling through but it is also a a lovely place to spend a few days to see the surrounding countryside, or just relax.

Very pretty town with lots of waterways and old buildings.
Very pretty town with lots of waterways and old buildings. Choice of places to eat, certainly found one to suit me. My visit was too short---could have spent at least half a day there---if the weather was good!
Mobile signal poor---had to move around to find the best spot
Nice hotel in a nice town. Market on Saturday morning very convenient and good value.
The hotel has a restaurant which is quite decent, even though the staff was a bit all over the place at the beginning of the service (fully booked).
The staff was accommodating with our requests (travel cot, mattress and sheet for our 2 year old).
We enjoyed the walk around the village and along the river.
Lovely little apartment with a small garden which the dogs liked. Much better than a hotel room as more space and more private. Vivonne is a lovely village with nice walks for the dogs and plenty bars and restaurants to choose from. We had lovely pizza from La Paillote and the next day we picked up croissants and amazing cakes from Andrieu Boulangerie.
We stayed at St George 20 years ago when it was family owned. But the hotel is very good as a stopover, the staff were very helpful and pleasant. The evening dinner was excellent, (Jambon et Melon and Entrecôte) and the breakfast provided many choices
Beautiful town with a lovely Saturday morning market. Lovely quirky hotel, clean room, and great bbq in the courtyard outside. Just a one night stop over en route to Gascony. Perfect and a lovely old building.
Beautiful location . Comfy bed & good bathroom.
Very clean. Very helpful, friendly staff. Excellent breakfast, vast choice . Value for money. Free Parking behind hotel. Good fan available in room.
A great stop on our road trip. A good hotel in a pleasant french town. We were lucky to enjoy the market on Saturday morning.
Very helpful staff and a comfortable room. Would recommend.
