The inn was exceptionally clean. We were greeted late in the evening with a warm smile after a very long day. The rooms were very clean and well appointed. The grounds surrounding the inn were well maintained and beautiful.

We picked Galan and this property as we were looking for an overnight stop on the V81 cycle route. Galan is a very pleasant small village on the ridge and the property is a beautiful and historic building with very friendly hosts. They provided a nice dinner by request as nothing was open on the Tuesday night we stayed. They also stored our bicycles safely and allowed us to check in a bit early after a slightly rainy ride. It had a very family and laid back feel we liked. And a very comfortable and spacious room with heated towel rack in to dry our cycle clothes.

Great host. Liked having a refrigerator and microwave along with dishes. Clean and comfortable.

Highly recommend this for the peace and tranquillity of the gite and gardens. The views across the fields to the Pyrenees. The cleanliness and spaciousness of the very well equipped gite and the friendliness and helpfulness of the owner. It is situated just a ten minute drive from the small town of Castelnau Magnoac which has all the shopping and dining options that you will need.
Also close by is Castelnau lake, with its white sand beach and Pedalo slides and inflatables fur the kids. Back at the gite there are Sun loungers in the spacious gardens, plus a large gaz bbq and a patio area to dine Al fresco. It’s a wonderful place and we highly recommend it to all.
