The location is very close to all the cafes and restaurants, all on walking distance.
Was very easy to access the apartment with a code and key in the lock box.
Small town with a lot of character. Great market on Saturdays.
Nice shops and restaurants, but it takes a while to figure out when they will be open. You are really close to Giverny and Monets house, you can walk (1hr) or rent a cycle, or take a bus or mini train from the station.
Some nice walks along by the river as well.

Great Saturday market, lots of good bakeries and shops.
Great Saturday market, lots of good bakeries and shops. Very convenient for visiting Monet’s House and Gardens at Giverny with great bike path to get there. Train station facilitates longer excursions by bike, e.g. we took the train to Gaillon, then cycled to Chateau Gaillard at Les Andelys and back to Vernon.

If you like smaller quieter towns without the rush of the cities but still the sights and facilities then Vernon is a place to consider. As a place to stay to visit Giverny, then Vernon is it. There is one however, if you are going to Giverny and Monet's garden make sure you book well in advance and make sure you check that it is not a holiday weekend of the secular or religious variety, the French seem to have a few of these and on those days Giverny is definitely a place to avoid and you wont get in if you try as the tickets will be all gone

A quiet village with a train station that was a 50 minute ride from Paris.Good location for Monets Gardens as there is a toot toot train/shuttle to get to the gardens.
Chateau Bizy worth a visit too.
Vernon lies on the Seine and there is a pleasant walk along the river.

Beautiful picturesque town !
Beautiful picturesque town ! Very quaint cobblestone streets - where one wants to go for endless walks. Clean and away from humdrum and routine life ! Plenty of food options- however most of them seemed closed Monday evenings. A Taco place was thankfully open and where we had dinner- it was excellent.
Very well connected by train from Paris ! Also you can take a taxi !Go visit Vernon🙂
The hotel was lovely, beautifully renovated and the rooms were very nice. The location is great — you can easily walk to sites, restaurants and the train station. The staff was outstanding, personable and very helpful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat 😊. We stayed seven nights in the Normandy region and this hotel was, by far, the best.
It’s a new built unit. Nice set up with big table and chairs. Sitting area outside. Good kitchen with enough utensils.it hs a small dishwasher .2 bedrooms and bathroom and one toilet.
Great area for walks to Vernon over looking the Seine. Easy drive to Givency.
We would stay again.
Location. If you are visiting the Monet garden by train, this apartment is ideal. 5 minute walk from the Vernon station.
Basic but very clean and has everything you need for a short stay
Great central location and easy walk around Vernon. Short drive 4kms to Giverny and Monet's house and garden. Also within walking distance of Chateau Bizy. Offstreet parking available.
