This apartment was perfect for my needs. It is right on the main street which was nice for me, a woman traveling alone to visit friends in the town. It is a short walk to the beach and directly across from a nice boulangerie. The bed was very comfortable and the whole apartment was newly renovated. Meschers sur Gironde is a lovely beach town with lots of restaurants, music, and activities.

Absolutely charming, old manor house run by a delightful, transplanted English couple. The rooms in the main house were comfortable and elegantly appointed with period furnishings. Our friend stayed in the one-bedroom gite and had a private patio, kitchen and bath. We all enjoyed the beautiful pool and delicious breakfast, and the hosts’ dinner recommendations in nearby villages were spot on. Thanks Sharon and Phil!
