Location was perfect for our ongoing trip to the Alps, we passed the day skiing at Mont Dore so this was an ideal location to break up the journey.
The hotel was clean and had everything we needed. The bar and lounge were lovely, the staff friendly and helpful. Parking was free just outside the property. Restaurants and bars were two minutes away but the location was quiet.
The bed was extremely comfortable.

Jaap and Robert, our hosts, made us feel at home from beginning to end. We had a wonderful bottle of wine outside to enjoy the premises. This was followed by an exceptional dinner with wonderful local produce. An added bonus was to have dinner with other guests sharing a long, nicely set dinner table. The room was very spacious, an excellent shower and a cozy, clean bed. Breakfast the following morning was wonderful and, again, very appetising. I strongly recommend Chateau Savennes.
