Friendly staff, clean. Peaceful. Breakfast was nice in terms of choices, but the quality of food was just so-so (croissants hard as rocks), orange juice from a box.

Nestled in a secluded lane twelve minutes from Orange, Chalet Mont Ventoux VIP exceeded our expectations for the standard of the accommodation and the hospitality and helpfulness of Axel, our host. We arrived exhausted after having had very little sleep in our transit from Ireland to France. By prior arrangement we had requested dinner before attending the Amphitheatre Antique in Orange. Sensing our fatigue, Axel provided our three- course dinner after we had refreshed ourselves. His choice of food and cooking were of the highest standard throughout our stay, which we extended by a day such was the peace and tranquility we encountered. Our unit was virtually brand new, with modern appliances, air- conditioning and a spa replete with two televisions offering free-to-air and pay TV such as Netflix. Axel has used beautiful pine timber to create a virtual Nordic environment; the unit was very clean, spacious and the double bed was comfortable and inviting. Axel spared no effort in ensuring our stay was relaxing, pleasant and memorable. The only noise we heard was the reassuring hum of crickets in the French country side. In addition to our very private accommodation, Axel also has available a swimming pool and a jacuzzi for guests to use. We have no hesitation in giving 10 stars to Axel and the Chateau Mont Ventoux VIP.
overall the town is really nice to see- local with great food ( not touristy). we did not manage to reach at dinner in the restaurant but i hear it is amazing. nice small hotel
The breakfast was lovely, fresh and good variety of products. The owner of the hotel is lovely as well and wants to make sure everybody is happy and have what they need.
