The Abbaye is a gem lost in time, an incredible location full of magic and charme. Spending two days there was an incredible privilege.
Spending the evening in front of the fire in a 1200 old abbey playing with a lazy dog and a chubby cat was incredible.
The stories from the owners and the care of their delightful breakfast sealed the deal and made this the highlight of our trip.
Looking forward to go back in spring to spend more time in the cloister, really a fantastic location.

A stunning property with a wealth of history and a beautifully fitted out room with lots of thoughtful touches to make the stay perfect. The hosts kindly accommodated our request for an early breakfast. Should have stayed over longer to enjoy the ambience.

Such a beautiful place! Amazing building staying on the grounds of the Abbey which is incredible. The hosts were really lovely, delicious breakfast with home made marmalade. Room was very nice with big window that opened onto the huge garden. Good ensuite with a good shower. Kettle with tea and coffee in the hallway to help yourself.
It's a really cool area to explore too, Montelieu is a lovely little town.
