Absolutely GORGEOUS & elegant chateaux and grounds, sweet and thoughtful staff, extensive contemporary art collection inside and out, excellent food. It’s delightful to take the rowboat out on the lake. Also, we enjoyed a truffle farm tour that the hotel arranged about an hour away.

The location was perfect for us to kayak, easy to enter the lake. The hosts were welcoming and friendly, even sending us a text during the bad weather telling us how to turn the heating on , the gypsy caravan was snug and cosy.The shower in the bathroom was good and hot.
