Staff were extremely helpful they even permitted us to check early and place luggage in our room thereby enabling us to visit Arcachon without having to come back early. Excellent location near the airport!

A clean and comfortable hotel, good for those using it as a pit stop on the way to/from Spain. Its on the main motorway so a way out of the city centre so probably not good for anyone wanting to explore Bordeaux. The restaurant isn't open on a Friday night as the hotel has so few guests but there are plenty of food outlets nearby

If you want a drink in your room, buy it whilst your out, they would not let us buy a bottle of water to take up to the room. Even though they supplied two in the fridge as a welcome.
At the price I paid I got everything I expected (bed, restroom, shower). The staff were very friendly especially with my limited knowledge of the French language. Breakfast was good, and no one rushed me to check out of the hotel. I chose to stay at the Hotel Chantafred as my apartment in Bordeaux was not available and needed a place a to rest and place my things. The Hotel Chantafred was more than enough. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable night's stay !
A bit small for 4 adults but it has everything you need for a short trip. The mezzanine is fully equipped and the shower was excellent. The garden is beautiful and I guess now a pool is added. Perfect place to have your breakfast and relax.
It is situated about 30 minutes from the centre of Bordeaux, close to bus stations 24 (1 minute) and 5 (5 minutes) and the Pessac train station.

Tucked away in the suburbs of Bordeaux, this immaculately presented property offers everything you need for that perfect break. As well as having onsite parking, Les Suites d’Alienor are within walking distance of the centre of Pessac which itself hosts a variety of bars, shops & restaurants. Being close to the airport, tram and major bus routes the Suites offer the perfect location to explore beautiful Bordeaux and surrounding areas.
Good hotel with Ibis standards, helpful staff and very good breakfast. Very good for travelling by car, close to the highway exit and easy free parking. Hotel is not close to Bordeaux center but it's close to the tram line, making it easy to go to the center. And plenty of restaurants around. In short, a very good stop if you are doing a stopover in Bordeaux.
Basic hotel room, bit tired decor-wise, but room was very clean & comfortable with spacious ensuite and plenty of towels.
Breakfast next day was a buffet with a good continental selection: juices, fruit, yogurts, bread, cheese, croissants and coffee/tea.
Also, handy for Bordeaux airport - not for walking, but short car/taxi ride.
We stayed at this hotel as my husband had an early medical test at Haut Leveque Hospital which was only 5 minutes away. The staff were very kind, and allowed us to check out later, due to the medical test being 5 hours long.
As my husband was not able to eat before the test, they served us in our room which really helped!
it is an old hotel, the bed were broken and just "attached" with straps which was dangerous for the upper bed, completely old & to be changed immediately.
The hotel is in a very noisy area and other Clients were making a lot of noise : nobody to calm them down after 11:00PM.
Excellent location in Pessac and perfect base for exploring all Gironde. Very special in a good way accommodation with fine little garden and everything necessary for a comfortable stay to remember. Very friendly, attentive and helpful host. Highly commendable!
It's a basic hotel with small room typical of the budget France hotel. for a fast city visit or journey stop, it worth the price. I booked two rooms and they were clean included the bathrooms that looks like the campers or boat bathroom.
