The room was set on tatami mats, with a mattress on the floor and soft lighting. The breakfast was very good, beautifully set table- Japanese style on the floor. The room was decorated in a Japanese motif with soft koto music and dim lighting. The garden was well taken care of, and the sound of the stream nearby made it relaxing. A simple bed and breakfast, but very pleasant and comfortable. Our room looked over the garden toward the street. Lovely chestnut trees shielded us from the street light, as did the functional shutters. Our bed was very comfortable, and our breakfast was delicious! Fresh bread and croissants with butter and jams, fresh squeezed orange juice, excellent coffee, and our hostess baked some lemon poppyseed madeleines.
