Walking distance from airport, great staff and service
I stayed over in Mérignac because of early flight out.
I stayed over in Mérignac because of early flight out. I wish I could stay longer. Definitely should explore the area. The people are super friendly and helpful. Surprisingly clean around the airport area and smoke addicts don't enjoy more comforts than non-smokers. I felt an effort is made that non-smokers are not exposed to second hand smoking as it usually is the case. Thank you

A superb modern hotel finished to the highest standard, the staff were all very helpful and kind. The beds and pillows are so comfy and we plan to return as we enjoyed our stay very much. Perfect location for the airport and they offer a free shuttle service but it stops at 15:00 but also ideal for exploring Bordeaux as you can get the tram from right outside the arrivals lounge of the airport. Drinks and food both very expensive, chef has delusions of grandeur, his menu and the way it was written put us of eating there, all foams and weird concoctions!

Take time to explore the out of the way neighbourhoods in Bordeaux. There is lots to see. Say Bonjour and Merci to everyone. They do. LRT service is excellent. Go to Meriadeck Mall for groceries and Galeries Lafayette on Rue Saint Catherine. Rue Saint Catherine is a pedestrian walkway on the A line LRT. Go down to the riverfront. Drink the wine. Make an effort to speak French.
Merignac is a suburb of Bordeaux. My comments apply to Bordeaux.

It was very hard to get to from airport due to constructions...
It was very hard to get to from airport due to constructions. Hotel had not provided any recommendation nor warnings about it. We wrote to ask if restaurant was open on a certain night, we were told no and when we inquired as to a recommendation so we could have dinner that night we didn't get any answer. The room was cold, we inquired about that, we were told it was limited at 22 Celsius due to energy crisis but our room was at 19 degrees. On the 1st night we realized one of the twin bed had dirty bedsheets. This is not the first time we stay at this hotel but certainly the last time.
I absolutely loved my stay here. Staff was very friendly, room was really clean and very welcoming, but my favorite thing was the heated pool they have on the ground floor. It was weekend and a bit after hours but I was still allowed to use it, which was great after a day of getting overheated in the car 🥰 would definitely recommend this hotel, they even have a washer area you can use! I'll stay here again in the future if my travels require it.
Easy to get to on Tram A (second stop) from airport. My mistake that when I booked, I didn't realize that this was a dorm-like 2-star hotel which was accessed (check-in) at the 3-star hotel desk. Room was 2-star basic but clean. Breakfast was included, but very basic. No eggs...carbs, yogurt and fruit. There was a good Iranian-owned pizza place diagonally across the street which was open at 9:30 pm when we finally got in.
For the price this was a good value overnight stay after a late evening flight arrival; it was well located too being just one stop on the tram from the airport. Breakfast was basic but quiet sufficient. The tram line into the Bordeaux centre was particularly convenient and also great value at under €3 for a ticket to travel anywhere on the network for an hour - also available from the hotel reception.
The tram to the center of Bordeaux is basically outside the door of this hotel. It was so easy to spend an afternoon there and return back in the evening. The breakfast was continental style but had quite a variety of choices. The hotel was a little bit dated but was clean and very comfortable with everything I needed. The airport shuttle was easy to book and quick.
Excellent location close to the airport, good for early flights and late arrivals.
Beautiful new hotel, very comfortable rooms and beds, lots of sockets and plugs for phones, etc., coffee machine.
Very friendly and motivated personnel. Served us dinner even very late at night after a late flight arrival.
Lovely overnight stay, its just two stops on the tram from the airport. The breakfast was exceptional and wull keep you full until dinner. Very clean and quiet area. Its sister hotel the Premier, is located next door to it. We stayed in both, the Campanile.is nicer and more comfortable Highly reccommend.
Never made it to the Hotel as the road construction around the Bordeaux Airport made it virtually impossible to drive to this hotel. I ultimately stayed at the Mercure Hotel which was located conveniently located. This should have been disclosed.
This is a basic hotel which is fine for a night before the next day flight. It is good value for money . Spacious bathroom and nice bar area. Convenient for train to airport etc. Some restaurants in walking distance
For an airport hotel it was fine, though when we booked, a part of us thought with the name “Sheraton”, perhaps the decor materials would be a little nicer.
The staff at the front desk were pleasant and helpful!
Ideal location 10 mins walk from the airport and 35 mins into the centre of Bordeaux with the tram stop a 2 min walk from the hotel. Hotel has a great vibe about it and the staff are superb.
Excellent location for airport, really easy to get to from Bordeaux by tram and few nice restaurants around the area. Would definitely recommend if you need an airport hotel for one night.
Perfect for early flights out of Merignac, great restaurant, loved the buffet and surprisingly good ambiance. I highly recommend if you want a little bit more from your airport hotel.
A fair option, not too costly, if you need to stay at a walking distance from the Bordeaux airport. Decent breakfast. The shuttle service to the airport was very handy.
Great location, close to the airport and easy to find. Almost directly across from the tram stop.
Best of all was the staff- very friendly and helpful.
