The entire check in process from start to finish was easy, and the staff more than helpful. The food was outstanding and there was a wide variety of drinks from the bar. There was private parking for our bikes and access was easy and available. The room was very well laid out with a nice desk and large closet. I am a super fan of bathtubs and this one was comfy with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. More than anything I have to thank the staff for their great suggestions from the hotel menu to hikes and restaurants. This hotel was well worth the stay and excellent value for money

If you are going for authentic french experience, this is perfect. The room was not like the ones in the photos, but it was very cozy.
We had dinner in the restaurant, great food, great quality and the chef even sliced meat for our dog when we asked for leftovers.

the kindness of the young girl at the reception who tried to make our stay pleasant. The courtesy of the waitress at the restaurant who changed the dish because it was not the fish that had been advertised on the menu (overcooked tuna served instead of the swordfish on the menu)

A true Alsacien town and experience. I live in the region and have a good idea of authenticity. The food was as authentic as it gets as well as the decor. The town has an Alsacien museum and the abbey and crypt are a great visit. We are avid hikers and there are many different well-marked easy trails to follow. The food at the hotel was very good but closed on Saturday. The host let us know right away and she booked a reservation for us at a very busy restaurant one block down name L'Aura. It was very good, maybe the best dorade I have ever had. A reservation is necessary, so make sure you book. There are not too many other options available. I speak French but the host had a good grasp of the English language, this is not always common in the countryside. I enjoy a good soaking tub and this one did not disappoint. Overall, this hotel was GREAT value for money.
It is a fantastic hotel, the owner is such an indearing woman and is absolutely perfect for the job, the hotel has a seating and a table on another floor, the shower and the bed was perfect and the atmosphere so good. Our bicycles were also stored safely. The breakfast was very good and the soup the evening before very tasty .Marmoutier is, apart from its abbey not really on the tourist track but not far from Saverne. The experience to stay in a real French hotel was unforgettable
Our expectations were low, as wel booked late and it was one of the only things that had a free room.
The hotel was a bit older as was the infrastructure. But it was really nice. Really comfortable and the staff was exceptionally nice. The hotel is in a lovely town that's easy to reach and from which you can easily go to other towns for the Wine-route.
Staff is very friendly, and it is very clean, although a bit outdated. There is free street parking, so you have to be lucky. The hotel did have a spot for our motor bikes, in front of the hotel.
We enjoyed their dinner, which was goid value gor money, and breakfast had a good selection of breads, cold cuts, jams, eggs etc. We recommend this hotel
Charming and well priced! The host was very helpful and booked a table for our dinner at a local restaurant, as It was bastille day and their hotel restaurant was closed. We were offered a large continental breakfast in the morning. We arrived by car and could park in front on the street. The host recommended a low cost petrol station nearby.
The hotel owner was really nice, we had a great conversation.
Everything was clean. Everything went smoothly. The breakfast was night. The service was great. I would absolutely recommend people go there. And the value for money is the best, in the region.
The breakfast was excellent with plenty of good coffee Alsace pastries ham cheese and good bread yogurt and juice very generous and delightful and very kind owner- a really excellent hotel and good value
Marmoutier was quite nice, plenty of options at walking distance, also a big supermarket a few minutes drive away. The apartment was well renovated and pretty well equipped.
